I honestly have no clue who’s running this photo section lately—it feels pretty disorganized—so I’m just throwing this out here on the forum as a polite request.
The photos are a complete disaster because of that massive Watermark covering everything. You're basically ruining perfectly good shots that nobody actually needs tagged like that... a photo is a photo, period. It’s just annoying to have Index, Getty Images, or some big site URL plastered all over them.
I don't even get what the fear is... like, are you worried someone's going to steal them or something? Even if they do, so what? Who cares if a picture ends up somewhere else? Or is this supposed to be exclusive property for the official fan group? What about the rest of us regular fans who aren't part of that specific crew? Everyone else is just getting stuck with unusable, low-quality junk. If you're taking these official shots for the whole stadium, it would be nice not to "privatize" them just by slapping an ad on them. These images are meant to last forever, and I doubt you can ever take that watermark off once it's there. Just imagine if every photo of NFL fans from the eighties had some random logo slapped right in the middle of it—would you actually enjoy looking at those?
If you absolutely insist on putting something on there, fine—but at least make it small and tuck it discreetly into a corner.

You can always strip a Watermark off, so don't sweat it—it’s not like they’ve permanently scarred the original files. I suspect 😬 the high-res originals will eventually find their way into something more official anyway, like a printed calendar or a gallery show, whereas this stuff is really just meant for a quick look online...

Watermark is fine if you actually want to protect an image, but man, this www.nfl.com looks like someone slapped it on in MS Paint about ten years ago. xD

The Watermark is just a temporary placeholder until we drop the official gallery on nfl.com. Look, every single photo from the NFL fans posted over the last decade has carried some kind of logo—whether it was a local site or nfl.com itself. This isn't some new thing; it’s just standard practice that’s been the rule since digital photography first hit the internet.

It’s like you guys are competing to see who can slap on the ugliest Watermark possible and just completely ruin an otherwise great shot.😁

I was looking north yesterday. It looks great visually. The banners are all lined up perfectly. But then you turn your head west toward the NFL fans at the stadium, look south at the other group of NFL fans, and everything suddenly clicks. You see the hierarchy, the organization, how decisions from leadership actually get implemented, and just how the whole system runs...🤣

That’s exactly what he’s talking about. Nobody actually knows who’s buying the drinks or who’s footing the bill. You’ve got people running around with names like Longfield or High Ridge, just throwing stuff out there without any real label for the NFL fans. It's all vague.

It was tough getting out to the West and South side tonight. Good evening to everyone out there, stay safe with those protest signs, and have a good night. This is exactly the kind of thing leadership needs to address. Seriously, the guys at the top need to step up and react.

Look, raw data is just raw data—nobody’s actually going to touch it. Once the entire gallery is live, there will be plenty of protection in place. This is just a temporary setup while they sort through all the photos so people don't have to dig through endless websites after the game ends...
