Rutgers and Virginia Tech are averaging exactly one first down per drive. It’s an absolute train wreck.

Well, at least things might actually get interesting now.

I fully grasp that we're operating without Luca and Wilson, but for my part, this feels like one of those quintessential "pre" rush games. 😁

What are the actual odds for Ball in the draft? I don't really follow all the hype cycles and rumors, so I wanted to get a pulse on it.

And is it even realistic to think Geno Smith will go number one overall?

Geno Smith is definitely going to be the top pick. It’s pretty much a given since the Chiefs have essentially "locked down" that first selection; it just follows the inevitable logic of the situation.
Of course, whenever someone pulls a total disaster at the Bowl, the pundits immediately start their usual interrogation—questioning if the player actually brings anything to the table or if they're just all hype and no substance, blah blah blah.
As for Ball, according to the computer models, he won't see a selection until the 4th round, around pick 90.

The first two drives in Q3 are going to be the absolute deciding factor for this entire game.

It seems almost certain that the Chiefs are going to go after Geno. I mean, if you look back at how things were before the season kicked off, Matt Barkley was actually being projected as the number one overall pick, but after everything that went down during his time at USC, that dream has pretty much evaporated. At this point, it looks like Geno Smith is the clear frontrunner for that top spot.

It’s probably for the best that I’m keeping my eyes glued to Swit instead of paying any attention to this quarter.

Yeah, I have to admit, that Skov kid from Stanford actually stepped up and proved he could be useful.

And just like that, one single INT decides the whole damn game.

What’s the consensus among the draft experts? Any real shot for this Estonac kid from SMU? He was a junior world champ in discus and shot put, so I wonder if he actually makes the cut during the draft.

If you ask me, I suspect he’ll end up being selected in either the second or third round.

I misspoke regarding Ball earlier—I originally wrote he’d go in the 4th round, but let me correct myself: he's actually looking at the 3rd.

According to that same source, Hunt is projected to be the 127th pick, which lands him squarely in the 5th round.

The fundamental issue with using consensus as a ranking metric is that it often allows analysts who lack any real predictive accuracy to sneak into the conversation.
That said, you can certainly use it as a rough framework—provided you take it with a massive grain of salt—especially when looking at those early top picks.
