I’m looking for a ride from Cleveland to San Diego after the show, assuming anyone is actually heading that way by some miracle. And obviously, I'll chip in for gas and everything. 🙂

I have 2 or 3 spots available in my car. We’re leaving Washington, D.C. around 6:30 PM—Radiohead plays at 10, and frankly, nothing else matters—so we should arrive by 9. Gas and tolls will be split equally among everyone.

Killer show 😍

Complaints:
-The wait for the set to actually start was ridiculous. The prep work was a complete mess. 👎
-The crowd was dead. My buddies went to grab a beer and I just sat there, but nobody would move an inch to let them back in. Plus, people were being loud and obnoxious in English (and the folks from Canada) 👎

I agree with that first sentence, but as for the rest....

- the wait was actually pretty much according to schedule, it started at 10 PM just like it said on the ticket
- a lifeless crowd? I mean, it's not like the Red Hot Chili Peppers where you're supposed to be jumping around during every song... there were some crazy fans singing along with the best falsetto vocals of today—there were some, I guess, but not really in huge numbers... but I don't see why a crowd needs to be tearing themselves apart moving to a sound that's more like Radiohead🤷

It’s funny how everyone had such a blast. Half the crowd probably just showed up to gossip about their friend, her dog, and their latest fling while trying to calculate how many miles they can walk during an Olsen Olsen set. If you want to vent, pay me $15. I'll give you a beer in my garage and let you talk until you're blue in the face. You can walk too. Just stay away from shows like this next time.

I second that sentiment entirely.

That being said, the concert itself was phenomenal—the setlist was spot on, the musicianship was top-tier, and that finale was nothing short of legendary.

You nailed it. Legendary is the right word. It felt like... 😲

Anyway, watching the band, I realized Kjartan—that guy with the beard—was missing. Looks like they swapped him out for two blue-haired hipsters. Guess the guy just got tired of life on the road. He's usually a pretty chill dude.

The crowd around me was actually pretty great. Lots of head-nodding, people just soaking it in, nobody being pushy. I was over there clapping hyperactively at random intervals, but it didn't seem to bother anyone; no one gave me those "shut up" looks.😁

As for the people wandering around like they just stepped off a shift at a local warehouse and accidentally stumbled into a concert? I’ve learned to tune them out. Or maybe I just didn't care because I was there for Canada🙂

My only gripe was feeling like the entire population of Washington, D.C. had migrated to Cleveland for the night. It didn't really have that "exclusive" vibe I was looking for.
