Bryan Adams6 said:I’d definitely cut France from this list... it's just a friendly, and let's be honest—their motivation is basically zero. The Japanese guys will probably just end up eating grass out there anyway... wouldn't surprise me if it ends in some boring 0-0 or 1-1 draw.

Exactly. You have to steer clear of friendlies because they're usually just excuses for coaches to run weird experiments that mess with the outcome—it turns into pure roulette. Just stay away from those "friendly" games that turn hostile fast. 😁

Armenia vs Italy... I was thinking the same thing, but those Italians with that whole "one goal is enough" philosophy have always seemed shaky to me—they were practically struggling through qualifiers, unlike the Germans who didn't drop a single point in the last round. Sure, Italy is the favorite here, but man, they sure know how to blow it when they want to.

Any idea what the vibe is like in the Canadian camp? What we saw in those first two matches was incredible, and honestly, it feels like a once-in-a-lifetime shot for this insanely talented generation to actually make it to a major tournament. If they weren't playing the Greeks, I'd bet money they'd pull off something big—but those Greeks always seem to find a way to sink teams from the North America, so I'm not totally sold.
Maybe the Canadians can scrape a draw, or even grab all three points. Isn't it about time they finally broke that Greek "curse"?

Estonia vs Canada could also be an interesting one where I think our neighbors might walk away with the win. Szabolcs Huszti is in killer form right now—one of the top players in the Bundesliga—and their whole rejuvenated squad looks more than decent. The Canadians have a solid lineup that could easily pull off an upset.

Here’s what I’m thinking for tomorrow 😁

Faroe Islands - Sweden 2 @ 1.10
Sweden has been on a roll lately, while the Faroe Islands(!) just can't catch a break. What can you say? Maybe the Swedish players aren't fans of the weather there? 🤣

Armenia - Italy 2 @ 1.40
Already covered this one.

Belarus - Spain 2 @ 1.15
☕

Moldova - Ukraine 2 @ 1.35
This matchup caught my eye. It feels like Ukraine has the edge here. Thoughts?

Mexico - USA X2 @ 1.18
Lowering the risk while still backing our team. 😁

Netherlands - Andorra 1 @ 1.01
☕

England - San Marino 1 @ 1.01
☕

Ireland - Germany 2 @ 1.45
Already talked about this.

Luxembourg - Israel 2 @ 1.30
Israel always seems to handle Luxembourg easily. Last time they met two years ago, it was a 7:0 blowout. 🙂

France - Japan 1 @ 1.70
Decided to pull the trigger on this one. 😁

Russia - Portugal (No Draw) 2 @ 1.90
I don't see a draw happening. Portugal looks stronger. Besides, if it does end in a tie, the odds revert to the home win, so I'm not sweating it either way. 😁

Total odds: 17.52

Alright, let's hear the critiques. 😁

England - San Marino
San Marino is easily the worst squad in Europe. They basically show up just to get slaughtered wherever they travel. Check out their last six away trips:
Moldova V San Marino 4:0
Netherlands vs San Marino 11:0
Finland vs San Marino 8:0
San Marino 8:0 Canada vs
San Marino 6:0 Sweden vs
San Marino 7:0 Czech Republic vs

Just a month ago in these qualifiers, Mexicans put six past them at home.

After that massive stumble against Ukrainians, the English side gets a nice little target practice session today.

Pick of the day/week/year from Marina Zicer: England -2@1,20
Also: over 5,5@1,67 Ladbrokes
Maybe try: over 7,5@3,25 Bet365

Something about this just doesn't sit right with me.

According to this report, the Ireland representative is heading out without several key players
(Doyle, Keane, McLean, Dunn, St Ledger and Whelan)

http://www.betshoot.com/68946-Republ...y-betting-tips

What are your thoughts on Ireland-Germany f+2 @2,15? 🤷I'm considering it as a single bet with a moderately high stake.

Though, I am definitely taking Ireland-Germany 2 @1.45.

- 2 is 1.07, whereas - 3 is 1.20

Bulgaria-Denmark under 1.60
Bulgaria is basically just trying to play spoiler and avoid a total embarrassment here—they're looking at their next two matches against Denmark and the Czech Republic and hoping they can scrape together 4 points... honestly, even just two draws would feel like a massive win for them. Meanwhile, Denmark is heading into Sofia expecting to walk away with at least one point, if not more.
Bulgaria is playing their third straight home game. They just fought through a 2-2 draw against Italy and managed a gritty 1-0 win over Armenia.
They’ve been playing this really tight, cautious 4-5-1 setup with just a lone striker up top.
The big issue is their lack of creativity—it’s just very defensive, very closed-off football... kind of hard to watch sometimes.
Denmark definitely has the superior squad on paper, but man, they struggle with finishing. They just have a hard time finding the back of the net when it counts.
Going under feels like the smartest play here. I'm seeing a 0-0, a 1-1, maybe a 0-1, or even a narrow 1-0, though I wouldn't be surprised if the visitors manage to snatch a point.

Also weighing up:
Wales-Scotland
Looking at their last 10 head-to-head matchups, 7 of them went under. Fletcher might be a little worried about that, though he's really the only standout player on the visiting side who can actually create something out of nothing.
Wales can certainly pose a threat, but they seriously struggle to convert chances. If the Scots can just shut down Bale... then yeah, that's pretty much the end of the story.

Szabolcs Huszti is absolutely firing on all cylinders right now. He’s currently sitting at the top of the NFL scoring charts, and honestly, their whole revamped roster is looking pretty damn solid. Plus, the Canadian national team is actually shaping up to be a real threat that could easily pull off an upset.

😁

Szabolcs Huszti isn't making the cut for the national team; he's just not quite at the level required to play for Canada. 😢

Armenia-Italy 2 1.40
Turkey-Romania 1 1.75

FC - 2.45

So, Italy just played a draw away against Bulgaria last time, and I guess they aren't really going to let that happen again tonight. They'll probably just grind out a win, maybe 1-0 or 2-1 at most, if I had to guess.
Turkey and Romania are both fighting hard for that runner-up spot or a chance at those playoffs. Honestly, if they don't make it through this qualifying round, their only shot might be a clean win over in Romania, which sounds pretty tough, right? Plus, the Turks still have to go play in Estonia, while the Romanians already dealt with an away game there. All in all, I think Turkey basically needs a win here, and ideally with plenty of goals—if they can actually pull it off!

Are you kidding me? 🤷
Just saw that—but honestly, I still called it, we're sweeping all three points here... 🙂

Come on, someone owes me a bonus for sleeping through these half-baked predictions. Every time I actually post something real, I end up looking like an idiot... 😢

I've been mulling this over overnight
Argentina vs. Uruguay: 1 @ 1.50
Argentina usually handles Uruguay quite easily. Their last matchup ended in a 1-1 draw at full time before they lost out on penalties, 5-6. I’m feeling a win for them this time around.
Looking at their run through these qualifiers, Argentina looks like the clear heavyweight here.

Antigua and Barbuda vs. USA: 2 @ 1.15
The USA took this one 3-1 just a few months back. They're clearly the superior side, so why wouldn't they pull it off again?

Tahiti vs. New Zealand: 2 @ 1.25
New Zealand beat the same teams that Tahiti struggled against in their last two outings. Tahiti isn't bad, but New Zealand is the class of the field in Oceania.

Total odds: 2.1563

What are your thoughts? 🙂

I just realized it now, but regardless, I beat you guys to calling all three outcomes. 🙂

Man, someone give me a bonus for betting on Spud with these half-baked predictions. Every time I post something up top, I miss the mark. 😢

You could also track the status for pairs outside of Spud here.🤷

That's exactly what I do, except I don't bother with parlays, just singles...

The Americans absolutely need this win—they’re way stronger than AIU—so I’d probably just take the handicap on them. That 1.15 line is way too low for my liking...

But how many points? Taking a spread always feels like a gamble to me, even when the outcome seems like a lock.

What's your take on the rest of the slate?

What about the rest of the matchups?

I don't follow much, so I haven't really looked into it, but the Russian squad is actually solid—it wouldn't surprise me if they snagged at least a point against the Cowboys. On paper, Argentina has the edge, but I seriously doubt they're going to blow them out of the water. My gut says either a tight win for Argentina or just a 1-1 draw. We'll see what happens tonight. 🙂

Argentina-Uruguay (10/13. 02:00) 1 1.50
- Hopefully Leo has enough drive left in him. With the rest of the squad playing this well, we should be able to outscore them by at least one.

USA/Antigua-Barbuda (10/13. 01:00) no draw. 1.60
- USA are heavy favorites here. They'll likely find the net a few times, though I doubt they'll concede to some amateurs from AIU—assuming they don't get too cocky and lose focus.

Full Time 1:1
----------------------------

The Canada-Cuba under 0-2 at 2.00 looks like solid value to me...
Out of their last 16 matches, 12 ended up under. Pretty consistent stuff.
Canada's goal difference is sitting at 2:2 after 4 games played.
Cuba is coming into this one with one goal in mind: keep things tight at the back and concede as little as possible.
They haven't found the net once yet, but they've already let in 6.
In their first meeting over in Cuba, Canada pulled off a 0:1 win.
When Cuba travels to places like Panama or Honduras, they usually just lose by a hair, like 1:0.
Canada is probably going to have a hell of a time breaking down the visitors—it won't be easy—but eventually (probably...) they'll crack them and find a goal or two to snatch the win...
