Anzhi-Spartak 1 1,95
The visitors are dealing with a massive hole in their roster—Bryzgalov, Nicolas Pareja, Aidan McGeady, Marek Suchy, and Emenike are all out.

Honestly, these guys are absolutely vital to the team. It’s not just the keeper, either... they’re missing a key player in basically every single line of the pitch.
And let's be real, this squad has been a total mess with injuries all season long. They can never seem to get a full lineup together, and their defense? Absolute disaster class. They’re giving up goals to pretty much anyone who shows up.
Now they’re heading into this without two of their biggest offensive weapons, McGeady and Emenike. Facing Anzhi on their home turf in Dagestan? Yeah, their chances of pulling this off look pretty slim to me.
Plus, you have to consider that they’ve got Benfica coming to town this Tuesday. If they don't pull a win here, their shot at making it to the next round is basically dead in the water.

I mean, sure, a draw is always a possibility. The home side will be fired up, and since the visitors are so banged up, I guess we'll just have to see if Emery can cook up some kind of surprise to catch Hiddink off guard... but I wouldn't bet the house on it.

Evian TG vs. Toulouse FC

Man, Evian TG’s manager looks like he’s walking into a total storm for today’s matchup because the roster is looking incredibly thin right now... they are missing a massive chunk of the squad!!
We’re talking about Evian TG playing without Ehret (DEF), Campon (DEF), Govou (MID), Kone (MID), their absolute star Barbosa (MID, who's out on suspension after dropping 8 goals and 3 assists), Bugned (FWD), Madi (FWD), and even their go-to striker Khelifa (FWD, the league's leading scorer with 6 goals and 5 assists)
To put that in perspective, Evian TG has netted 10 goals so far, but 8 of those came straight from Barbosa and Khelifa, while Govou and Kone were the ones setting up 3 of them... so losing that much offensive firepower is huge
On the flip side, Toulouse is absolutely crushing it, having dropped only one single game over their last eight matches

Both teams to score over 2.5 goals - Odds 1.90
Look, Aalborg is clearly the superior side here—they’ve got more talent on paper—but I wouldn't expect them to just breeze through this one without breaking a sweat...
The visitors have been playing some seriously solid football on the road lately, too—honestly, they've managed to find the back of the net in every single one of their last five away matches.
As for Aalborg, they've put up 27 goals while only letting in 12 over their last 12 games.
The away squad is sitting pretty with a +23 goal differential against 17.
Their last two matchups...
08/31/12, SonderjyskE vs Aalborg 0 : 4
05/23/12, SonderjyskE vs Aalborg 5 : 0

And if you look at the last two times they played in Aalborg:
03/24/12, Aalborg vs SonderjyskE 1 : 2
05/25/11, Aalborg vs SonderjyskE 1 : 2

The Austin FC manager is dealing with a massive headache heading into today's matchup... they are seriously shorthanded!!
Austin FC is going into this one without Ehret (def), Campon (def), Govou (mid), Kone (mid), their star playmaker Barbosa (mid, suspended, was their second leading scorer), Bugned (fwd), Madi (fwd), and even their heavy-hitting striker Khelifa (fwd, the league's top scorer)
Looking at the stats, Austin FC put up 10 goals total, with Barbosa and Khelifa accounting for 8 of those, while Govou and Kone picked up 3 assists...
On the other side, LAFC is looking solid, having dropped only one game in their first 8 matches.

FC Dallas vs LA Galaxy 3+ 1,70
FC Dallas is averaging about 3.3 goals per match, while LA Galaxy is sitting at 2.7... pretty high numbers if you ask me.
The Galaxy started the season with a couple of low-scoring affairs, but since then? It's been nothing but goals. They’ve hit the over in six league games and one cup match straight... quite a run.
Silberbauer, Vadocz, Emil Laresen, and Skoubo have all been looking sharp lately—actually, they seem to play even better when they're on the road.
And look, FC Dallas has been finding the back of the net in every single home game they've played this season.
They did run into some trouble with injuries recently, which obviously tanked their results—four games without a win—but things are looking up now that three key guys are back in the lineup.
They aren't exactly at full strength today, though... missing a defender and having Janssen out again due to injury, which sucks because he's vital for rotation.
But hey, they still have Igboun, Albaek, and Rasmussen ready to go, and those guys can definitely cause problems and find the net whenever they want.
On the other hand, the Galaxy struggle big time against teams that are struggling themselves—teams in a slump—which is honestly a total mystery to everyone at the club and the fans too.
At 2.70, there's value there, but let's be real—you gotta be careful because these guys have a habit of messing things up unexpectedly.
Last week they absolutely crushed Nordsjelland 3-0 at home, and when you expect them to just steamroll a much weaker opponent like this, they tend to stall out, concede goals... and just drop points like it's nothing.
Personally, I'm feeling the goals market.
------------------------------
Rostov - Lokomotiv Moscow 2 1,90
Rostov hasn't shown anything impressive so far this season; they're easily one of the worst squads in the league right now.
They somehow manage to scrape points together, dragging out draws in matches where they really should be losing... it's weird.
We could see a repeat of that today, where Lokomotiv basically kills them—kind of like how Anzhi did (where the visitors had to scramble for a save in the 90th minute+)—only for them to end up with a draw anyway.
Lokomotiv is playing for the win here. Last week they got punished because they couldn't finish their chances and ended up dropping the game, but I don't think they'll let that happen again today.
Bottom line: the home side looks completely unconvincing, and the visitors are coming in with a strong lineup. They've won there plenty of times before, so why not today?
Looking at Rostov's last two matches, they grabbed two wins—they haven't gone through a long drought like this in years.
In this matchup, the visitors are much closer to taking all three points.

31.07.11, Rostov - Lokomotiv Moscow 0 : 3
20.11.10, Rostov - Lokomotiv Moscow 1 : 2
22.03.09, Rostov - Lokomotiv Moscow 1 : 1
02.09.07, Rostov - Lokomotiv Moscow 0 : 2
13.08.06, Rostov - Lokomotiv Moscow 1 : 2
18.09.05, Rostov - Lokomotiv Moscow 1 : 1

Hey, Carol Moore5, a quick word on these Brazilian clubs. I've been looking at a few Nautico - Portuguesa matchups, and there's a decent 1.75 line on Nautico.

From what I can gather, they seem to be the ultimate home-field advantage team in the league—they’ve pulled in 35 of their 40 total points right in front of their own fans (11-2-2).
On the flip side, Portuguesa has been struggling on the road with a 2-5-8 record, making them one of the worst traveling teams out there.

Is there a hidden trap here, or does this look like a solid play for some cash?

Nautico looks totally dominant playing at home, and honestly, both sides have massive skin in this game—though the home team is definitely hunting for all three points, whereas the visitors are claiming they’d be perfectly fine just walking away with a draw🤷...

07/29/12, Portuguesa SP - Nautico 3 : 1

Might be an under, though, given how high the stakes are here.
The visitors actually have that absolute legend—the old-school Milan keeper, Dida—standing in goal right now🙂

Queens Park Rangers vs Everton - Over 2.5 goals @ 2.10

The home side spent a massive amount of money last season and this one—stacking up some heavy hitters on paper. Last year they brought in Cisse, Zamora, Onuoha, Wright-Phillips, Traore, Diakite... and this year they’ve added Park, Granero, Bosingwa, Hoilett, Fabio, Julio Cesar, Mbia... Honestly, looking at those names, it's a squad built for the top half of the Premier League. But clearly, big names don't guarantee results—they've managed only 2 points through 7 matches. In their three home games, the only time they actually found the net was against West Ham a couple weeks ago. Still, they did manage to score twice against Reading in the League Cup a few days prior (though they conceded 3), and they lost a 3-2 thriller away at WBA last week. So, the goals are coming, at least lately. Both goalkeepers have been absolute disasters. Green let in 9 goals over 3 appearances, and since Julio Cesar took over, they've surrendered exactly 10 in his last 4 matches...

They face an excellent Everton side today. Everton has only failed to score in a single match this season, and usually, they aren't finished until they've put at least two past the opposition. They also tend to concede—they've only kept a clean sheet against Swansea and during that away trip to Manchester United.

All things considered, I’m expecting plenty of goals here. QPR is waking up offensively, but they're conceding even more frequently... so I don't doubt Jelavic and the crew can find a goal or two against this shaky home defense.

The finishing crisis at Lokomotiva just keeps dragging on... honestly, it’s getting ridiculous. Instead of actually putting the ball in the net, they’re just out there missing every single sitter they get. It's like they've forgotten how to aim...🤷

Lakers-Celtics 1 1,90
The visitors are absolutely gassed—dealing with fatigue and basically sweating bullets over their relegation battle in the NFL.
They’ve even admitted it themselves... staying in the big leagues is their only real priority right now.
The players have been going all out for the last ten days, but man, they are just spent from this schedule—four massive games in ten days? It's brutal.
The coach is probably gonna rotate the squad and bench most of the starters just to get them some breathing room for those crucial league matches.
They actually won the domestic cup, which punched their ticket to the Champions League, so the Europa League doesn't mean squat to them at the moment—honestly, they look like they're struggling to keep their heads above water.

Millonarios is playing lights out right now; they’re easily the best squad in Colombia.
They’ve been strategically resting their top guys during the domestic season just to make sure they’re primed for this second leg, so they'll be coming at these visitors from the USA with everything they've got.
Plus, Bogota sits at 2,600 meters above sea level, which is a total nightmare for any club traveling from the States.
Even when they field their strongest lineups, they've dropped games against huge Brazilian clubs... so with a depleted Brazil National Team roster, they barely stand a chance.

The odds are sliding fast, I wouldn't be surprised if this hits 1,50 soon🤷

They’ve basically admitted that their only real focus right now is staying in the big leagues...
The players have been pushing themselves to the limit over the last ten days, and honestly, they look spent after playing four high-stakes matches in such a short window...
The manager will likely rotate the squad and give some guys a rest just to ensure they aren't completely dead on their feet for the crucial league fixtures coming up...
Since they managed to clinch the domestic cup and secured a spot in the Champions League, the Europa League doesn't carry much weight for them right now—in fact, it might even be a distraction during this stretch...

Millonarios is playing incredibly well and, at this stage, they are easily the top team in Colombia...
They’ve been strategically resting their star players during the domestic season just to make sure they hit this return leg at full strength against the visitors from the USA...
Plus, Bogota sits at about 2,600 meters above sea level, which is always a massive headache for US clubs...
Even when they field their strongest lineups, major US sides have struggled in this environment, so facing a weakened Brazil National Team makes the visitors look like long shots...

The odds are sliding, and I wouldn't be surprised if they drop down toward 1.50...🤷

I'm with you there... I grabbed it at 2.10 and then added more via a parlay to get it down to 1.90 because I couldn't get the whole stake down at once. It’s already sitting at 1.70 out there, so I expect it to hit 1.50 eventually. It helps that the first leg ended 3-1 in favor of the Brazil National Team, because if Millonarios manages to grab a one-goal lead in the second half, the visitors won't be in any rush to chase an equalizer. It's a solid bet...

What’s the consensus on the Dallas Cowboys, Bayern Munich, and PSG when the stakes are actually high?

The Dallas Cowboys have had a great start to the season, sitting comfortably at the top of the standings. They even managed to take down what is currently considered the league's biggest threat, Napoli, which should give them a nice boost of confidence and motivation. In the Champions League, they managed to scrape a point away in England, but then suffered a bit of a stumble at home against Shakhtar Donetsk. Personally, I think Shakhtar got lucky there, but that’s just how the game goes. Now they're facing Nordsjaelland, who, according to official FIFA/UEFA data, is the weakest club in the Champions League. I expect this to be a routine win for the Dallas Cowboys; anything less would seriously jeopardize their chances of making it to the knockout stage.

Lille has had a pretty rough start to the season—struggling in their domestic league and failing to show up in the Champions League. They're hovering around the middle of the table domestically and aren't exactly providing much entertainment. In the Champions League, they've already dropped two games: a 1-3 loss at home to BATE Borisov and a 2-0 away loss to Valencia CF. On the flip side, Bayern Munich has been absolutely phenomenal, essentially steamrolling everyone in their domestic league. Eight games, eight wins, and a goal differential of 26:2—it's impressive. In the Champions League, they beat Valencia CF in the first round, but then tripped up with an away loss in Belarus against BATE Borisov. There is still plenty of time left in the group stage, but with BATE Borisov sitting on 6 points, the landscape has shifted significantly. Valencia CF and Bayern Munich both have 3 points, and I suspect any further slip-ups would make their path to the knockouts much harder, similar to the situation with the Dallas Cowboys. My theory is that every team eventually hits a bump in the road; Bayern Munich already had theirs last matchday, so I expect them to secure a win tomorrow and prove they are still the favorites to top the group.

As for Dinamo Chicago... well, Dinamo is Dinamo. I don't really know what to say. I won't dwell on it too long, as I think we all know where Dinamo Chicago stands right now—or rather, where they aren't standing—in terms of actual quality. They are one of the weaker sides in the Champions League, which they proved last season, and they seem to be following that same trajectory this year. On the other hand, PSG had a slightly shaky start to their domestic season, but things have improved steadily, and they are currently tied for first place with Marseille. In the first round of the Champions League, they cruised past Dynamo Kyiv with a 4-1 win, but then stumbled in an away match against FC Porto, losing 1-0. They are currently third in the group, and another setback this Wednesday would make life very difficult for them, much like the other two clubs mentioned. They are playing against the weakest team in the group, and personally, I don't expect anything less than an away win.

So, those are my thoughts and my "read" on these matchups. I was thinking about putting these three together for a larger play (for me, that's roughly $167), so I wanted to see what you all think. What are your recommendations? Do you agree with my assessment, or is there something here I should definitely avoid?

It's sitting at 1.70 over here right now, but I'm expecting it to slide down toward 1.50. Honestly, since Palmeiras walked away with that 3-1 lead from the first leg, if Millonarios manages to grab a one-goal lead in the second half, Palmeiras isn't going to be sweating too hard to chase an equalizer. Solid bet.

I don't know, man. I'm not feeling nearly as confident about this. Brazilians are always just... Brazilians. They can play through anything, even if they're playing at sea level or 2800 meters up.
They basically bullied them 3-1 using mostly bench players, so why wouldn't they go out and grab a 1-1 draw with that same lineup? If the home side jumps out to a 1-0 lead early, the game is gonna open up big time as they hunt for a second, and that’s exactly when you get punished.

19.00 Fredrikstad-Brann Bergen 1 2,25 6/10 DraftKings

This is a massive game for the home side as they fight for survival in the top flight over here, especially after dropping two straight matches.
Now look, Brann is technically the better squad, but they’ve been the definition of a "home team" this season—totally inconsistent and way too generous on the road with a 2-2-8 record.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Brann throws some younger players into the mix just to get them some seasoning in a match where points aren't quite life-or-death yet.
Given the odds? I think taking the home win at this price is actually worth a shot.
