Why does the forum lag so much from 9 AM to midnight?

I’m also giving a huge thumbs up to using an ad blocker with Chrome! It’s absolutely insane how much faster things go. I used to be so used to waiting forever on those old forums... now a page loads before I can even blink. 😁I guess I’m just conditioned to wait for things to buffer. 😛

I knew it wasn't my Wi-Fi because everything else was running perfectly fine 🙂 but this ad blocker is making life easier on basically every site I visit. Goodbye, clutter. 😉

I was getting some random error on Firefox, so I switched over to Chrome and now it just letsitili 😁 👋

Mine is flying now that I've got AdBlock installed 🎉—honestly, it's almost weird. I might actually miss that little window of downtime where I could whip up some lunch and scroll through my Facebook feed while waiting for pages to load 😍

But this isn't some permanent fix or a definitive solution... what becomes of the forum when accessed via mobile, or those who simply don't frequent this particular corner of the site? And even with my AdBlock active, the speed remains sluggish enough to be maddening...

I’m with Budweiser on this one. Just grab some AdBlock add-ons for Firefox and the forum will be lightning fast... plus, you won't have those annoying Trojans hiding in the ads. Honestly, I was fed up with all of this since yesterday afternoon. I did a little digging and—voila—it took seconds to get AdBlock installed, and now everything runs FLAWLESSLY. Norton isn't constantly flagging things anymore, and the forum is literally flying 🙏

Well, since the admins and tech support couldn't quite get it together, the users went ahead and fixed it themselves by just installing AdBlock 🙂

For the last few days, my Norton keeps flagging a Trojan.Script.Iframer on Reddit.

Another user ran into this exact same thing and started a thread about it, but since it was on a different PDF, they locked the whole discussion down.

Does anyone actually know what's going on here? 🤷

Just shut down Kaspersky and you won't have anything popping up with alerts...
