Why does the forum lag so much from 9 AM to midnight?

The forum’s been running at a crawl regardless of the time of day for two or three weeks now, ever since that constant BetMGM pop-up started appearing.

I'm starting to lose my motivation to post here, though just slowly. 🤣

Was it like a hack or something? 🤷 I remember trying to log in all day long, but that page just kept forcing itself open... I had no idea what was going on... Then the next day, everything was running smoothly again!

It’s not slow. It’s just taking a record-breaking amount of time to load, I guess... :-)🙄

And what the hell is slow now? It's not even 1:30 yet 🙂

The real issue here is that this forum is running slower than ever!

Clearly, the only way to actually use this place is to log on after midnight!

Honestly, this slow loading speed is a total test of my patience,
if I have to wait until midnight just to get things moving,
I won't be able to get anything done during the day because I'll be stuck moving at a snail's pace, just like this sluggish forum.

I suppose you all haven't bothered to read the solutions posted over at AdBlock Plus? Since I installed it, this forum has been running incredibly fast for weeks now.

Absolute nightmare🙂 for my sanity, I swear. It takes a freaking eternity just to log in, and don't even get me started on everything else. You think they’re actually gonna fix this mess?😕

Honestly, this is getting a bit out of hand, even by our usual forum standards. 😢

Once you block the banners, the background ads, and all those other Google nuisances, this forum runs perfectly. It flies!

As I have already suggested, you really ought to just install AdBlock Plus, which effectively blocks all those advertisements and other digital filth.

Even with AdBlock installed, I’m getting nowhere! I've had it running for a while now, but lately, things have been a total disaster—my browsing speed is absolutely crawling!
