I’ve gotta admit, I’ve been following water polo for decades now, but this is the first time I’ve ever actually sat through these four-minute penalties.
Twice in two different games, no less.

Water polo is absolutely disgusting. Referees can just script an entire game and nobody can say a damn word about it afterward.🙄 Where was the red card for that hit? And what about the egg sack grab? Don't they do video reviews nowadays?🙄
Dammit, we’re losing 7:3, and we haven't scored a single goal even with a full power play. They're just bullying us with extra players the whole time. It's a joke.🤮

Sure, that doesn't excuse our pathetic start to the game. It’s classic American complacency, made even worse by hearing that they probably found out the score from Mexico...

They really need to play with 120% effort until the final whistle if they want to avoid being knocked out of the tournament.

Look, everything else might be fine, but honestly, do those Germans even know how to play water polo?
edit: regardless of what anyone says, the way our guys are playing right now is an absolute DISASTER.

That was some of the most idiotic water polo I’ve seen in a long time. As for the officiating? It felt more like a handball match. It’s honestly mind-blowing how much these referees can just dictate the entire flow of the game in sports like this. But hey, even if the calls were perfect, our guys were playing like garbage anyway. ☕

There is still plenty of time left for us to pull off a victory!
