The drums are basically nonexistent, and I can barely hear that megaphone thingy... what do you call it? The gramophone? ☕

My take? Stop trying to force the energy for all 90 minutes during these blowout games. It’s exhausting. I lose interest pretty fast, and honestly, everyone else around me feels the same... it just doesn't make sense anymore. And can we quit with the constant banners? Three different messages at every single game?? What's the point? This isn't a damn billboard in Times Square...

I honestly don't get how someone can show up to a stadium, sit in the stands, and then just stay silent with their arms crossed for eighty minutes straight...

In my book, you gotta lean into what was already being shouted earlier—keep the chants tight, punchy, and stick to those catchy, easy-to-sing anthems that you can blast out for five or ten minutes at a time.

Build them up to a light euphoria, you know? Then maybe one big burst of energy or some absolute idiot on the field scores a fluke goal, and that'll be enough to set the whole thing off...

Personally, I lose my drive to keep it up that long, and honestly, everyone around me feels the same way. It just doesn't make sense anymore. And can we please stop putting up banners every single time? Three different messages at every game?? What’s the point? It’s a stadium, not a freaking billboard in Times Square...

Yeah, and we should probably stop standing up the whole time too, right away. I mean, why bother standing when you're stuck in those cramped seats? Maybe we should also quit bringing flags and signs, stop lighting those flares, and finally just wrap up the nonstop cheering for the full 90 minutes once and for all.

The people who write those sarcastic posts about how we "rose up" during the last two seasons and act like they’re longing for those days back when there were fewer of us but supposedly everyone was out drinking... man, what a joke, because what exactly were they even drinking? We barely had one single choreographed display or one flare show per season back then, honestly...

cosmictinker46 said:So what, we should just stop standing up altogether because of some cartridges? Or maybe we should stop carrying flags and banners, quit lighting the flares, and just shut up and stop cheering for the full 90 minutes?

Look, because of people like you who constantly attack others, regular folks feel like they can't even share their own thoughts without getting jumped on... why attack someone immediately when they're just expressing what they believe is right? Personally, I actually agree with them. I'm not saying we should stop cheering entirely, but maybe we shouldn't be doing it for the whole game—instead, we should make those moments much more intense. Tell me, since you're such an expert, who did this current approach actually benefit? I don't see how things could get any better; if anything, we're just falling into this repetitive, boring routine. If we hadn't gotten those two new songs this past fall, the atmosphere at the Yankees faithful games would have been absolutely soul-crushing from boredom.
Don't you think it's better to have that massive roar erupt ten times during the game out of pure passion, rather than this constant drone? During the big games, we create the energy, but the other night felt like there was zero atmosphere, and that was only the first game after a three-month break! Just imagine what it's going to be like by the end of the season.
And listen, this is just my take, so if you or anyone else disagrees, please just say so normally and back it up with some logic instead of attacking me instantly; maybe I actually am wrong. For instance, with this style of cheering, we actually managed to make sure that during derbies and high-stakes matches, our support isn't just a joke anymore, but actually feels top-tier most of the time. But if we keep acting like this toward people, we're just going to drive everyone away. We really need to find some kind of middle ground.

My suggestion is that everyone with an idea should get together and organize a meeting with the group's proposer to discuss all these proposals.
I also think we should ditch the massive banners and instead go with a single 100 by 27.5 graphic featuring a donkey with a torch in its mouth. At this proposed assembly, I’ll be moving to have all the flags on dual poles burned collectively, and that our choreographies focus strictly on donkeys, parties, and specifically two types of wine... Jure and Bepa. We need to tear down the stadium bars and implement a dress code next season. My proposal for the assembly is that the dress code consists solely of white sponsor tees featuring the team crest and one of two brewery logos—Bud Light or Miller Lite. I also propose introducing local jazz into the supporters' club. Let's wipe everything else from the jukebox except for Vinka Coce and Doris Dragovic, the queen of the Yankees faithful. We should probably burn all those videos of the embarrassing so-called "ultra" away trips to places like New York, Athens, or Podgorica... ☕

We really need to get out to training in Los Angeles before the matchup against the Dodgers and Budweiser. We should show up, light some flares, get a message sent, and then just stay quiet for the first five minutes at Dodger Stadium. Once we let them settle in, that’s when we really need to bring the noise. If they don't step it up right then, they never will..

Honestly, wanderingcobra18, you’re being such a drag lately. Can we please just move past this whole "donkey" thing already? How long are you going to keep bringing it up? I mean, what are you even talking about right now? Are you feeling all smug because you think you've spelled out every single obvious point like some kind of genius? We were actually having a productive conversation about how to step up our game and improve the atmosphere for the Yankees faithful, but here you are again, obsessing over the same old nonsense for the thousandth time just because you think you have it all figured out! What if you had been born in some tiny, isolated town in the middle of nowhere without any internet access—wouldn't you be just as clueless as everyone else? It isn't the fault of others that they might not see things your way or lack certain insights, is it? You should honestly just be happy that you aren't one of them; instead of picking fights constantly, why not try teaching people a little bit or explaining things more clearly? It’s so much easier to just lash out and argue, isn't it? Go ahead then, let's all just fight. Why don't you try offering an actual suggestion for once, unless that's too much work or you simply haven't got a single idea in that head of yours?

You think you're some kind of genius now because you typed out a bunch of nonsense, but honestly, this thread was supposed to be about how we can actually level up our fan experience, and here you are for the thousandth time obsessing over those idiots because you think you've got the world figured out. It’s like, if you had grown up in some tiny rural town in the middle of nowhere without any internet access, you’d probably be one of those exact same people. Is it their fault they aren't exactly rocket scientists? Just be glad you aren't one of them. Instead of constantly picking fights and acting superior, maybe try actually explaining things to them once in a while. It’s incredibly easy to just sit here and act like an asshole. So go ahead, everyone, let's just fight. Why don't you offer an actual suggestion instead of just complaining, unless that's too much heavy lifting for you or you simply don't have a single constructive thought in that head of yours.

And there we have it—that’s the crux of the issue right there. Someone posts a bit of criticism and suddenly everyone loses their minds. Now everything has to be measured by some video clip. Honestly, it would be easier if people just uploaded footage of some high school football team in Nebraska or watched a hawk circling a field in Kansas; that should be the benchmark for what we're discussing instead of all this "it should have been this" talk.

What even is this happening right now? It’s ridiculous. People are starting to clean themselves up and look more presentable, so the visual aesthetic of the crowd is becoming a bigger deal, which is totally normal, right? But man, it’s missing something—it’s just lacking that certain something. I’m sitting here watching old clips of local high school pep rallies and just losing it, hahaha. God, this is driving me crazy! 🙄

Be glad you aren't one of them. Try teaching them something instead of just picking fights all the time. It's easy to be angry. Everyone loves to argue. Either make a real suggestion or admit you don't have any...

Honestly, I think you're the one being dense. To write something that stupid, you really have to be a special kind of moron... You bring up the internet and then act like someone from a small town couldn't possibly be uneducated. That doesn't even happen in a place like Chicago—you don't see people showing up to the stadium acting like complete buffoons with trumpets (not that they need to act, since there are enough clowns like that in the suburbs to fill an entire state), and look, even Morgan Sanchez64 was being sarcastic when mentioning that "Chicago vibe," yet today half the city is basically transplants and outsiders...

Good grief, what on earth are you even talking about? Honestly, just stop replying because I can’t make heads or tails of anything you're saying anymore. I wrote that I was from a tiny little town in rural Kansas, not some random place out of nowhere. If I’m even understanding you correctly—and that’s being generous since I barely understand a word—are you actually trying to tell me that New York City is nothing but trash? If that's your take, then you are completely and utterly lost.

Hey everyone, I think the real issue with how we cheer isn't anything else, really... it's just that people need to realize that cheering should actually follow what’s happening on the field. Like, I guess a section leader needs to actually have guys right there in the stands with them, you know? They need to listen to the crowd when the Yankees are attacking or when we're stuck playing defense, and then just... react to the game. For instance, if we're absolutely crushing the Dodgers 3-0, then we can go all out with those massive choreographed chants where everything is timed perfectly—you know, like how you always know exactly which songs are coming next.
So, maybe I'm just thinking out loud here, but I’d suggest we stop setting off the flares at exactly the 61st minute. Just to catch the opposition off guard, because honestly, everyone already knows our timing by now. Or, I don't know, maybe we only light about thirty flares at the 61st minute, and then wait until the 85th to let loose with another hundred? Just an idea.

Benjamin Cruz78 said:they haven't really had the chance to prove themselves over all these years, have they?
but honestly, I think they have

I mean, you can clearly see today that they can pull off an incredible choreo without just following some script, and isn't it true that about 95 percent of the north stands show up and cheer normally during those massive games?
and why are we even wasting our breath talking about them when there weren't even two groups like that just the other day

Well hey there, our resident visionary, sounds like you might've had one too many drinks, buddy. How's it going otherwise? Everything good?
It really should be, haha! You're basically my deity now; hosanna, hosanna in the highest! Tell me, is there any water left?
I think I need to head to confession since I'm clearly not worthy of communion. You probably used to brew some chamomile tea for me, didn't you? Not anymore, I guess. Hahahahha

And who are these "enemies"? If you're talking about the cops, then there's really no helping you there. They film the entire game for the full 90 minutes and then some, so that whole idea of trying to surprise them doesn't really fly. And "just" thirty flares, then "another hundred" later? What, do you think we're running a pyrotechnics factory here? 🤣
