Like the title says, I have a question regarding a partial ban I’m facing on the Lonely Heart subforum. I was hit with this ban back when the moderator team consisted of mistywolf17, Nimoy, eleuthera, and Drito konj. Since those folks were the ones who voted to keep me banned, I’d like to ask mistywolf17, since she’s the only one left from that group, along with the admins, to reconsider if my ban should be lifted or stay in place. I guess my only real argument might be that out of those four who voted against me, three of them aren't even moderators there anymore—only mistywolf17 remains. I won't count Veliu, since she just joined recently.

So, if my request could be considered, along with my promise to stop trolling, spamming, and going off-topic... and my apology to supermod mistywolf17.

Could you please, just once, have the decency to actually answer me with some kind of explanation? Is that too much to ask? I write out exactly what I’m curious about, hoping for a decent breakdown, yet you seem incapable of providing one. Why act like you're somehow above me? I guess I'm just a regular user, but don't I deserve a proper response?
Now it looks like it’s entirely up to you to decide if I get kicked off this subforum. Since the other three who voted on my post aren't mods anymore, it feels like you're the only one standing in my way. It isn't objective, and I suppose it isn't democratic either—it’s just one person making all the calls.
I apologized, and I truly mean it. I can promise I won't cause any more trouble in "your" section, so I don't see why I shouldn't be allowed back. Did I really do something that terrible? Did I insult you?
I don't even know anymore. I'm just asking the admins to step in and weigh in on this. Thanks.

Can you please just accept things for what they are for once in your life? Yes, I was a moderator back then and I’m still a moderator now. The decision rests entirely with me. I'm not sure what part of that is unclear. There is no further discussion to be had here. We have already exhausted this argument across several threads on the PŽK. I don't see any point in dragging this out again.
You only received partial access six months ago. It isn't being revoked now.
As far as the admins are concerned, Tyndall already stated in one thread that you should reach out after 18 months.

You only got partial access six months ago. It isn't changing now.
As for the admins, Tyndall told you in another thread to check back after 18 months.

Well sure, so now the decision is entirely up to you. So, what's the problem with me? Am I really such a villain that I don't deserve one more chance?

Anyway, the Rules don't actually specify how long partial access lasts, just that it's "until further notice." So, those 18 months he mentioned could have been anything—8 months, 15 months, 4.6 months, or whatever random number he pulled out of thin air. He just picked 18 to get rid of me. And what, we're just supposed to blindly follow whatever is said? Especially since he previously said "until further notice," which usually means the decision can be changed anytime, right? 🤷

Regardless, I'm still waiting to hear what the admins have to say about the decision banning me from YOUR subforum. Thanks.

Moderators are the ones who decide on partial bans.
A partial ban means you're permanently barred from a specific subforum. That is, however, something a moderator could potentially lift at their own discretion.
In my opinion, I don't think your partial ban should be lifted. There, I've made myself very clear.

A partial ban means you're permanently blocked from a specific sub-forum. Maybe a moderator could lift it if they felt like being generous.
In my view, I don't think your partial ban should be lifted. There. That's my stance.

But why? What is the actual reason you won't lift the ban? That’s what I’ve been asking this whole time, just trying to understand the logic. Nothing more. You just said "no" and left it at that, so now I'm just guessing at the reasoning. I just want to hear the reason.

The reason was clearly stated to you when you received your partial ban.

What’s the point? I ask one thing, and she answers something else entirely. I ask why my ban isn't being lifted, and she just recites the reason I got it in the first place. 🤦

So, yeah. All my assurances don't matter—promising I won't repeat the mistakes, won't troll, won't go off-topic... which was the whole reason for the ban, anyway. Honestly, the penalty feels excessive since nothing I said was truly stomach-turning. I even apologized to everyone who felt offended, especially Sovereign, but apparently, that doesn't change a thing regarding your decision. I guess I didn't realize you were this rigid and stubborn, but fine. You won't be a moderator forever.

I apologize for wasting time, though I see now I was just wasting my own. It was useless expecting the mod—pardon me, the *super* mod—to actually be reasonable and give me a second chance. I really hope you find yourself in a situation where you need someone to grant you a second chance, but if the other side refuses to even listen, well, now you know how that feels.

And just to be clear on this. Since I’m not going to play dumb here, we’ll just call it what you said—that second thing you did, which apparently didn't even earn you a slap on the wrist or a warning or anything else. That's all I have to say. Peace.

I apologize for the wasted time, though I realize now I was mostly just wasting my own. I suppose I spent it fruitlessly hoping that the mod—excuse me, the *super* mod—would decide to be reasonable and give me a second chance. I sincerely hope you find yourself in a situation where you're the one asking for a second chance, only to have the other side refuse to even listen, so you can see how it feels.

Thanks. You’ve certainly proven to me that you don't need a partial ban lifted. Since I won't be acting as a moderator there indefinitely, maybe reach out once I've moved on from that role.

Regarding that screenshot, you could have just linked the thread. That post is still part of that discussion, along with all the posts you directed at me.
Actually, it was me who stepped up and argued against your permanent ban on this profile back then, despite how unfair everything felt. So, there's that.

As for that screenshot, you could have just linked the thread. That post is still active, along with all those posts you directed at me.
Actually, I was the one who stepped up back then to argue that your permanent ban on this profile should be overturned. So, yeah, credit where it's due.

Proven what? That you insulted me? Look, I haven't sent you a single insult, not once, yet you clearly have toward me—you can see that for yourself. It isn't an issue providing a link if the thread is still live and shows my entire history, but it's just frustrating when you can't convince someone that certain things won't happen again, because I've learned my lesson.
And the fact that you're stubborn... well, I guess I can't do anything about that, since you'll probably be this way for the rest of your life. Even if my life depended on your word, you'd still act the same way because that's just who you are.

Honestly, I've had enough people tell me my ban was undeserved, even if I was a bit blunt sometimes. I won't name names because I don't want to take sides, but to say I deserved such a drastic punishment—as if I were insulting people daily or sending threats via DM—is just ridiculous. People get partial bans for much worse than what I did, truly much worse, yet I get hit with this for what I did. But fine, whatever, I'm the villain, the criminal, the one who hates everyone and insults them until they feel sick (your words). I guess appealing on this forum is just useless, and it's pathetic that a moderator like you gets to decide whether or not someone can post on MY subforum.

So, I'll just keep waiting for one of the admins to step in and make a statement, if they even bother. And hopefully, they actually provide a reason.

mistyhound94, did Tyndall give you any word on when you can actually reach out about appealing that partial ban?
once that window opens up, we can finally start looking into it.

Well, fine then. I guess I’ll just check back in twelve months from now. It’s just another decision by mistywolf17, so maybe I was wasting my breath writing all this if the appeal isn't going to be granted anyway. Long live democracy, I suppose. ☕

Does that mean my partial application for the USA is actually on the table? 😬
