It’s all about the tires, really. At this point, talking about Lewis Hamilton feels like a waste of breath; it is absolutely mind-blowing how much he can let slip through his fingers when things go sideways 🙏

Man, you’d probably be happy if one of your favorites could actually pull off what Lewis does—just consistently fighting at the front race after race. But hey, what can you do? They’re just too slow, so I guess all you've got left is this pathetic whining about Lewis Hamilton.

Seen this one before—been there, done that!

Keith Rodriguez27 said:Personally, I think Alonso got overshadowed by both those McLaren cars—which he totally deserved—but man, you can't deny he drove a hell of a race. Especially when you consider he finished way ahead of Mark Webber by like thirty seconds, even though he started on those super-softs while Webber went straight to the hards.

Honestly, Nando drove like an absolute disaster today.☕ Izletel spun out three different times, wasted a massive amount of time trailing behind the Mercedes-Benz and Massinha, and just looked lost. When he finally blew past Rosberg, he was actually setting the fastest laps on track and closing the gap to Jenson Button so fast it looked like he was right on his gearbox—I mean, it was less than a second, if I recall correctly. But then, boom, the mistake happened, and he spent the rest of the afternoon just trying to claw back all that lost ground.

The whole vibe was pretty rough, but the final result is 🙏🙏🙏

been there, done that

And honestly, I still haven't forgiven them for taking out Pastor. Pastor was having an absolute masterclass in Monaco until that guy went and crushed his entire season and snatched a massive pile of points right out of his hands.😢

Lewis Hamilton is basically his own worst enemy at this point. 🙂

When he first blew past Rosberg, he was absolutely flying—set the fastest lap on track, pulled away from him instantly, and I think he got within less than a second of Jenson Button. He was right on his tail. But then everything went south, and he had to spend the rest of the race playing catch-up.

The vibes were terrible, but look at the result: 🙏🙏🙏

I thought it looked brutal at first too, but as the race dragged on, he actually started closing the gap on the leaders. He tightened things up, made fewer mistakes, and honestly, both his driving and his strategy improved significantly. He's lucky as hell he didn't stay stuck in that mess he was in at the start.

darkmarlin16 said:I still can't get over that incident where they knocked Pastor out of the race—it honestly still stings! He was driving such an incredible race in Monaco until everything just fell apart, and he lost all those massive points in a heartbeat.😢

Pastor was just totally out of control there—trying to dive in even though Lewis had him practically covered by half a car!

I've got some photos here—take a look at where Lewis Hamilton was positioned!

Keith Rodriguez27 said:Honestly, I thought he was totally falling apart at the start, but the longer the race went, the more he actually started closing the gap on the leaders, and his execution—both tactically and behind the wheel—got way cleaner. He just got incredibly lucky he didn't stay stuck in that absolute mess of a form he had during those opening laps.

Yeah, but then he goes and pulls that amateur move about 15 laps from the finish, spinning out in Turn 1, and right when he’s finally clawing back that distance on Vettel, he just blows it.

Man, he really pisses me off.😠😠😠

I don't get one thing... Jergović keeps going on about how Lewis Hamilton should've pitted because he didn't switch to the softs while everyone else was already running either the super-softs or the softs...

Wait, isn't it true that if they declare a wet race right out of the gate, drivers on intermediates don't actually have to run both types of tires during the race? I mean, we all know everyone started on intermediates specifically because the race was called wet from the jump...

Man, Blaž is honestly out here living his best life today, basically acting like a little kid because of Jenson Button 🙂

It was actually pretty hilarious watching that pre-race interview where they grilled Horner about who he’s most terrified of facing out there. Some guy asked him if he was more worried about Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, or just the damn rain, and honestly, I love the energy. He didn't even hesitate—he just went straight for Fernando Alonso. Even he knows that Nando is the absolute biggest threat on the grid.

You got photos? Then look for yourself and see where Lewis actually was.

Purely on raw driving talent? Lewis is probably the best on the grid. But mentally? He’s miles behind that guy driving the little street sweeper.

He said that because Lewis ran those reds for over 20 laps before the end and they just weren't gonna hold up.

Gary Palmer8 said:didn't Webber blow his lead by jumping on intermediates too early?

Keith Rodriguez27 said:Well, look, I don't really recall that part. He wasn't exactly gripping my attention since he wasn't fighting for the top spots. 😁Now that you mention it, maybe, but honestly, the memory's gone.

I'm sure James Diaz8 will come through with the facts for us. 😁

redheron12 said:Yup, went with intermediates, then Lewis Hamilton followed suit.

man..webber is gonna tell you himself 😳😁😁

edit: this is that statement from yesterday after qualifying, when he totally won over Jordan & co. with how blunt he was.

Lewis Hamilton and the strategists 🤦
neither Nico Rosberg nor Brawn really made a mark..
Gumb 🙏
Sebastian Vettel: I'm not a fan of his driving style or recent tactics.. because of that, I'd love to see anyone in the field overtake him, even if it's Fernando Alonso or Lewis Hamilton..😬

STR is a killer car in the rain 🙏
Always has been, but unfortunately, the same doesn't apply to Red Bull Racing😢

it's interesting how Red Bull Racing is great in the dry, while STR struggles there.

It's weird, but those two cars act completely opposite for some reason, even though they share almost the same base🤷

Out of all the top contenders, Alonso actually had the worst race execution😳
I'm not even kidding—it was obvious that Ferrari was miles ahead on this track and in these conditions, and Felipe Massa proved that better than anyone.
Then there's the fact that Alonso messed up several things himself, plus his pit crew screwed him over with the tire choice (or maybe he just screwed himself up 🤷), so yeah, it's a decent result overall, but he really could have done way, way better.
