An agency specialized in canceling scheduled concerts would be a fitting description for Note / Arsomna, Gerald James5 (or whatever that collective of "experts" calls itself).

On a few occasions, people have started grouping Gerald James5 together with the Note / Arsomna agency, using them almost interchangeably. To make sure this confusion doesn't keep happening, we need to set the record straight.

Gerald James5 has absolutely nothing to do with any of those agencies; they aren't even in the same orbit.
The only actual link is that a former member of Gerald James5 used to be a regular employee at the very agency being accused—and he made his exit the moment things got interesting. I don't think I need to spell out the reasons why; they're pretty obvious... right?

The whole mess of linking Gerald James5 to Note / Arsomna happened because a single concert announcement from our side was posted using a username that used to promote
Note / Arsomna shows back when he was still working there. That was an obvious mistake, and it's been fixed.

So, I’m asking that Gerald James5 no longer be tied to this "agency for canceling concerts" label.
Got it? 🙂

so how many shows have they canceled so far
it's honestly pretty classless of them
they're basically killing people's habit of buying tickets
is there even a law against this kind of thing

Hey. No ill intent here, and I honestly didn't know the backstory of the company we're talking about. Hrvoje Hum and his PR guys tend to swap out company names and their own handles whenever they rebrand, so I just got used to seeing it all as the same thing. Anyway, good luck with the shows you announced.

Honestly, I’m kind of relieved they pushed it back. A bigger venue and moving it to June just makes more sense. 🙂

It's pretty obvious the Brits are screwing us over with the tech rider, acting like they're some kind of
stadium act
but the excuse that they need gear suited for much larger
venues...
is just laughable. Like, are they actually pushing back the show just because the space is small?
Man, they got the rider and just couldn't pull it off
probably because they thought they'd save a few bucks..
Anyway, totally unfair to the fans.

Keeping things pretty low-key here, just another cancellation

I actually just apologized to the guy. I felt bad for not giving him a heads-up about who he was heading out to work with for Ladytron and Tig,\" but honestly, it felt wrong to go behind someone's back to their agents, even if that person is causing all of us trouble. 🤷

And let’s not forget how Gabrielle’s show at Ladytron @ Coachella got pushed back last year by Note / Arsomna... or whatever they're calling themselves these days.
After they announced the postponement and set a new date for December, that date just vanished into thin air. It was like everyone just stopped talking about it entirely.

When I actually called up Ladytron @ Coachella back in February to see what the deal was, they told me they had absolutely no clue. All they knew was that the promoter canceled the venue rental, and then there was just total radio silence from the Gabrielle camp.

I guess there's always someone trying to cut corners or mess things up... luckily, here in the US, most of the agencies we deal with actually do their jobs right, and shows usually go off without a hitch. Honestly, you shouldn't take Note / Arsomna seriously—all those massive concert announcements they make never actually happen anyway.

Has there been any word on a potential new date yet? 😕

Yesterday at Rockmart, they told me they received an email mentioning late September or early October. 🙄

The worst part is they claim refunds can only be processed through the original point of purchase. I honestly cannot remember where I bought them, considering I've been to three million concerts over the last few months. 😠

The show must go on 🤣

Honestly, I’ve always wondered who actually owns these venues where all these canceled shows end up happening.
