So, I just picked up an HP 4720 17.3'' laptop, and it actually came bundled with an original HP bag, all neatly packaged in its own box.
But here’s the kicker—the bag doesn't even fit the laptop!
I mean, honestly, I’m pretty surprised that a company like HP would make a blunder like that.
Has anyone else run into something like this before?

It’s funny—modern HP isn't quite the powerhouse it used to be back in the day. Given the general build quality you see in the ProBook line lately, poorly designed carrying cases are probably the least of their concerns.

BTW, this might not even be an official HP oversight—in many cases, retailers just throw those bags in as a freebie to sweeten the deal. Honestly, the easiest route would probably be to take it up with the store where it was purchased...

Look, those bags actually come pre-packaged right in the box with the HP logo on them. Most retailers aren't doing anything special; they just like to brag about throwing them in for free. And let’s be real—there are definitely some shops out there that pull those exact same bags out of the box just to sell them separately...

I also own the 17-inch HP 4720. Everyone seems to have their own opinion on the matter, and while some claim the bags are a bit small, they will certainly stretch out over time, so there is no need for concern. 🙂

Saw my buddy pick up an HP 17 laptop and they gave him a bag meant for a 15" model. Pretty hilarious!
