That shot was all Harrison's. Given that he was completely unmarked at the start, and considering they held a five-point lead like a heavy bag of cement sitting right in front of the goal, Harrison hitting that shot was the only logical play. 🙂

I don't doubt that Mike will step it up in the next few games. He’s got the talent, and he's proven that more times than I can count. Honestly, shouldn't we be expecting a massive performance from him this Wednesday?

Besides, I don't doubt for a second that Mike will step it up in the upcoming games. He has the talent—he's proven that countless times—and I'm expecting a stellar performance from him as early as Wednesday.

Sweet dreams, but honestly, I can't imagine a physically larger goalie who covers less of the net than M. A. I really think it's about time the US national team starts looking for an honest-to-God keeper, someone like Sunjic or somebody else entirely, because M. A. is just struggling right now.
P.S. I hope the guy reading this forum sees these insults and decides to prove everyone wrong by showing what he can actually do, but knowing Sweet Dreams, probably not.

Back in 2000, during some game out in a city like Madison... there was this matchup between the Americans and the Mexicans. The Americans somehow ended up with about 200 tickets among the Mexican fans. The Swedish police even tried calling everyone to demand they return the tickets, but it didn't matter—riots broke out anyway. The Americans were chanting old nationalist songs, and the Mexicans absolutely crushed them on the court.

As far as I know—though I can't be certain—both Sunjic and M. A. are from the South.🤷But honestly, that’s irrelevant. The issue isn't where they're from; it's that M. A. is just a terrible goalkeeper. I mean, if you're playing in a World Championship—the one stage where he should actually be stepping up—and you're letting in goals like my grandma could, then where exactly is the "potential" in that?

If you had mentioned Mike Basic, then we could talk... maybe we could just clone him at this point.

For his age, Mike still puts up an incredible performance in goal. Honestly, Gobac is struggling to find anyone with even half his experience to back him up, but I won't get sidetracked by that.

The Mexican team is slow and sluggish. If we drop a game to them, any hope for a medal is dead. It’s not just about losing points; if you're actually aiming for a podium finish, you simply cannot afford to lose to a squad with such limited upside—regardless of all the local rivalries and the inevitable tension on the field.

I just can't wrap my head around why they gave the ball back to the Americans. Did they blow the whistle on the foul against the Americans first and then decide to hand out the ejection? Because otherwise, that doesn't make any sense...

I was sitting there thinking it was super weird they didn't pull the card immediately, but man, you just have to laugh at the official who made that call because it's so rare to see someone be such a total moron and just provoke a situation like that out of nowhere when the game is pretty much already decided

Plus, in that same sequence right before it, he clipped him with an elbow too, even if it wasn't quite as heavy-handed 😂

First, those two were pulling him, and then he caught the Dane right in the head with an elbow. He earned the ejection, fair enough. But before that happened, the refs handed out two technicals to the American players—completely baseless. It's like they were inventing penalties just to make sure things didn't get too complicated for the Danes. Either the Americans were falling apart in the second half, or the Danes were clearly better—but apparently, neither is enough for the refs, who seem determined to help Denmark win.
