Milestone seems to be the only player actually seeing any significant traction in the American market, while everyone else... 👎 But that's just a fundamental failure on management's part... William Green4, I have to agree that PDF MTT is one of the more pleasant personalities on this forum, though my own take is that his appeal stems primarily from... lighter... Just because it’s a specific topic doesn't mean there isn't room to make things a bit more tolerable. Personally, I don't bother posting in the Economics section, even though that happens to be my field of expertise, mostly because the whole thing is just an endless, exhausting slog of political economy, market theories, macroeconomics, and a million other useless distractions...

I have to agree, marketing is a brutal game and we've certainly been fed a fair amount of garbage from Motorola lately, but it feels completely absurd to try and draw any meaningful comparison between how many Motorola units move here in the States versus the sheer volume of iPhones...

Regarding the moderation and the general organization of things, I have no intention of getting bogged down in the details, as the moderators are more than capable of identifying expertise and handling their own business, but I certainly won't shy away from saying that a complete reorganization of that department is long overdue... 👍

When I first decided to kick this thread off, my main inspiration was actually to turn those PDFs into something akin to a digital billboard for mobile devices.
In my view, no technical PDF should ever be used as a vehicle for promoting specific service providers.
It would be far more effective to implement a moderation style that stays away from mobile phone specifics entirely, yet still holds people accountable for the usual nonsense.
I'm talking about things like spamming, blatant advertising, and similar distractions.
I am genuinely relieved to see that the admins have grasped the core intent behind what we're trying to achieve here!

I honestly can't say for sure which moderator handled this move (though I have my suspicions), but it’s quite a feat of technical wizardry. To put it plainly, the thread titled payment in VIP was migrated over to the group discussion regarding VIP without any indication that it was actually a separate topic, nor did they include the original opening post from the user who started it or that one important quoted reply. It makes it look as if the last four posts in this thread just materialized out of thin air. Since things are being handled this way, I'd kindly ask that specific moderator, or perhaps someone else on the team, to just go ahead and delete those four posts to clear up the confusion.

And just to clear the air once more: I am not campaigning for a moderator role, nor do I have any desire to be a mod on this PDF or anywhere else for that matter. My stance remains that it would have been better to simply erase those posts rather than moving them like this, but I respect your decision, even if I don't entirely agree with it.
