Interesting. Either Charlie is lying just to save face, or Ferrari is lying to pretend Alonso isn't making them look like fools.🤣

Mostly it’s just nonsense and bad vibes. A total circus.☕

Don't be naive enough to trust Ferrari. They're just a bunch of incompetent clowns playing circus with a top-tier racing team.
I thought you were a serious person, but apparently, you think Charlie is the golden boy.

And here I thought you were a serious person, acting like Charlie is some kind of North Star.

Look, believing them is a joke. 🤣
As for trusting Charlie? He’s probably just as shady as the rest of them, if not worse.😂

At this point, it's just a matter of figuring out who's lying more.

If both sides are full of it, I'm pretty much 100% sure.

Honestly, the only one sitting there rubbing his hands together over all this nonsense is Bernie. He’s just playing the director, orchestrating the whole spectacle to drive up interest and viewership for that circus he runs...

I suppose anyone might know where I could find a replay of this race? I was sidelined by surgery and couldn't tune in, though from what I've gathered while reading, it seems it might have been quite an interesting one... if anyone happens to have a link where I could catch up, please let me know 👍

You can find it on just about any decent torrent tracker. 😉
Just head over to somewhere like The Pirate Bay and search for "British Grand Prix 2010" 😉

Knowing Webber's personality, it wouldn't even surprise me if someone paid the mechanics at Red Bull to "forget" a few bolts on Vettel's car every now and then.😬

But hey, Mark is just adding fuel to the fire here.😬 🤣

Honestly though, I totally agree with him—except he should've just said that he and Horner are idiots and they're the ones who caused this mess.😬

He also stupidly forgot that the wing was actually taken off Webber's car, and Mr. Chris Trump didn't even bother to give Webber a heads-up.🙄

And check out these top-tier comments below:🤣

USA won against Germany. I think Red Bull should just use an octopus to predict which driver gets the parts.

And the "I have absolutely no clue what I'm talking about" award goes to... Mr. Helmut!

Mark is talking nonsense. After that collision between Vettel and Webber, he showed exactly how "objective" he can be, and now he’s back at it again. If they were actual heavyweights, they would have just told Webber straight up that he was the number two driver, and this whole mess wouldn't have happened. Instead, they held out hope that Vettel would eventually pull ahead enough to make such a distinction unnecessary—much like how things work over at Ferrari or Renault. To their shock, not only hasn't Vettel improved enough this season, he simply isn't better. Now they’re facing a massive crossroads regarding their future strategy: will they stick to the tired mantra of having two drivers who are allowed to race each other while secretly finding ways to signal their true intentions, or will they just go out and hire a Brazilian to fill that second seat?

On the car threads, we actually bother putting direct links for Top Gear and stuff... Apparently, linking to some pirated game 😬 is somehow "doing a good deed" and "educating the community." Right. 😉

Michael Lee4 said:When we post direct links to sites like Top Gear, it’s a different story entirely than when someone drops a link to some pirated video game. 😬 It feels more like we're doing a service, right? Like we're actually helping people learn where to find legitimate content 😉

Fair enough, I get that, but at least try to avoid those "notorious" motorsport tracker sites, 🙂

stormybadger8 said:why on earth would you think the folks over at Mercedes actually have any real inside intel on this kind of thing?🤷
I mean, we're talking about Brawn—basically the old Honda crew and their people—so I find it hard to believe the corporate suits at Mercedes were just wandering through McLaren's garage taking notes on how the KERS works.🤷

KERS belongs to Mercedes, it’s not exactly rocket science.🤷

Mercedes built the KERS system specifically to match their own engines...☕

If they were actually big shots, they would've just told Webber he was the number two driver and moved on. They were banking on Vettel being good enough that they wouldn't have to go that route (just like they don't have to at Ferrari or Renault). To their surprise, Vettel isn't just "not good enough" this season—he's flat-out not better. Now they're in a perfect spot to figure out their next move: do they stick to the mantra of having two drivers who can race each other while finding sneaky ways to show what they really think, or do they just grab a Brazilian for that second seat?

🤣🤣🤣

Come on, Joshua Newman2, stop hating😂

You could bet your life that Alonso insisted his contract explicitly states he's the number one driver.☕

Whether it’s explicitly stated or just implied, it doesn't really change the math: Massa isn't even in the same league as Alonso, so this issue is a non-starter. In my view, the smartest move would be for Webber and Massa to swap seats next season. If they make Vettel the clear number one, Ferrari can finally let that chassis carry them to a team championship.

I doubt the radio comms were even recorded.

Then we'll see who's actually lying. 😁

Joshua Newman2 said:Maybe he’s writing it down, maybe not—honestly, it doesn't matter. Mass is clearly not on Alonso's level, so this issue won't even be a thing. Honestly, the best move would be to swap Webber and Mass for next year. Make Vettel the lead driver, and let Ferrari rely on that chassis to clinch the Constructors' Championship.

Wow, look at you being a genius. Such deep thoughts. 😬

That's exactly why Mass stayed so quiet and played nice when Alonso squeezed him out of the pit lane. He knew right then that Alonso was going to outshine him in the long run, even if he didn't want to admit it at the moment.😉

Mass is the No2 driver. He's always been, and he knows it. That's why he keeps his mouth shut.☕

Don't even go there! I wouldn't trade Mass for ten thousand Webbers.
