Can someone please help me out? 🙂
I just got a new laptop and installed Spotify on it. On my old laptop, I had Spotify where I used to sync my iPhone. How can I sync my "old" and "new" Spotify setups so that when I sync my iPhone with the new one, I don't end up with a total blank slate? 🙄
The old laptop runs Windows XP Pro and the new one is on Windows 7, though I don't think that matters since I already managed to connect them via cable and they recognize each other.

I'm not a fan of BlackBerry, and I actually got this iPhone for $0.33 last year, and it works perfectly fine 😛

Okay, here's the deal... whenever I want to upload or download something on my iPhone, I use Spotify, but since I have a new laptop, it's running the latest version of Spotify, whereas all my data is stuck on my old laptop. So, if I try to sync it with the new laptop, my iPhone will end up completely empty.🙄

It’s the same headache I’m dealing with, and honestly, there just isn't a straight answer to fix it. It’s incredibly frustrating. After I set up my new computer—you know, went through the whole sync process—I realized I’d suddenly lost about 300 songs on my iPhone...

but I was secretly hoping someone would come up with a simpler solution (like just moving contacts from Outlook on an old laptop over to Windows Live Mail on a new one)... looks like I'll have to give this a shot 😠

Essentially, every single album currently sitting on your iPhone is also stored within your old iTunes library, organized into specific folders containing all those tracks and videos you previously imported. Now, you'll just need to manually move all those files from their original folders into the new iTunes and run a sync to get everything back in order. 👍

What about the apps? I tried moving files from my old machine to the new one, but the whole "replace file" thing clearly isn't working with this OS. 😛I guess I'll have to try that method you mentioned, but honestly, I just can't be bothered right now...

You’ll need to import the folder containing your music and videos into a fresh installation of Spotify, but I suspect you won't have to worry about your apps since those are tied directly to your Spotify account, particularly if you've already purchased them.

I don't have any paid versions yet, but I'm going to try that file transfer trick again once I move everything over from my old laptop 😛
If that doesn't work, I'll follow the manual and try that "organize" method and all that...
