Brian Edwards6 said:The issue isn't that one of us is confused. It’s just that we fundamentally disagree. Any connection between a church and God is something manufactured by the institution itself, designed primarily to serve its own interests. It functions exactly like a middleman in a retail transaction.
No, it’s fine. It only becomes an issue if the person who's confused...
He just doesn't want to listen—or maybe, more accurately, he simply can't. It's like he’s incapable of hearing anyone who actually has a bit of clarity.
Because they actually show up to class and put in the work. It’s a far cry from that one kid who just spends the whole time trying to flirt their way through the lesson.
If he’s out there marking players like that, then he might as well be trading stocks or acting as a middleman too. 🥳
We’re mostly on the same page here. But honestly, there are plenty of non-believers out there who seem to have more integrity than the people actually sitting in the pews, even if they don't live under the wing of the Mother Church. For some people, the Church was more like a stepmother than a mother. Forgive me if I keep bringing up the past, but I don't think forgiveness should ever be confused with forgetting—at least, it shouldn't be.
Yeah. 😁
It’s the 21st century. Can we please stop constantly pointing fingers at the Mother Church? 🤦
It’s always the same old story. Total déjà vu with this Religion PDF. 🙄
Isn't that exactly what exclusivity is? Just a way to strip away someone's freedom to choose?
Why couldn't you compare the two? In both cases, you're trying to heal the spirit with something you have to believe in. And honestly, both sides have just as much absolute proof—and just as many total charlatans—as the other. What's really the difference between the local Trade Fair and that summer Camp? So, those are just the ones close to us. If anyone knows anything about Islamic, Orthodox, or other faiths, please feel free to add to this. The goals, methods, and faith are all essentially the same—it’s just the name of the power that differs. Isn't that right?
No, it isn't. It’s just talking about what constitutes the Truth and what doesn't.
And now they want to present themselves as the Truth. At the end of the day, the freedom to choose remains.
Consider this a warning. Like those signs you see out on the highway. At the end of the day, everyone’s choice is their own.
Doing this while driving.
This part in bold, A huge difference. But that’s not really what we're talking about here. There's a PDF for Religion stuff if you need it.
Starting a new thread. 😁
I didn't say everyone was like that. It's just that others often turn a blind eye when their own brothers lose their way. And honestly, that has nothing to do with your faith. Blindness is pretty much common to most faiths. The same goes for the alternatives.
I wrote something once about how Americans who are Catholic tend to "practice their faith" in dive bars. It was meant to...
I should probably take another look at that post, but honestly, I just can't bring myself to do it.
Alright then, I guess we’re all just blind if we choose to believe. It's probably for the best that you finally see things our way.
You call it an "alternative" to blindness, huh? Hehe.
An alternative isn't faith; it’s just the opposite of it. It's a void that gets filled up with superstition. 😍
You just didn't get it.👎
No way. 🙂 Just some kind of mediation through an alternative illusion. 🤣
Hey there, Brian Edwards6. 👋
