Anyone seen Ink (2009)?

I honestly don't even know where to start, I was just completely floored by this movie... gorgeous, tense, deeply thought-provoking... those are just a few ways I’d describe it, really.

I'm not gonna sit here and spoil anything for you, but basically, it’s this incredible look at the battle between good and evil happening inside a person and all around them and stuff... it's hard to even write about it without feeling like I'm giving too much away (and trust me, I could go on forever), so it’s probably best if you just watch it first and then we can actually have a real discussion...

For anyone who picks movies based on genre, I'd say this sits right in that sci-fi and fantasy sweet spot, though some of the shots are so genuinely scary that they put most mainstream horror movies to shame—and let's be real, most of those are total garbage anyway...

I have downloaded it, yet I simply cannot bring myself to open it. I shall have to force myself to dive in this weekend.

The budget for this film was only $250,000. Honestly, I was floored. To put that in perspective—$416667. When will American filmmakers finally follow in the footsteps of Indiana Jones; making stuff that’s actually high-quality, affordable, and original?

It’s a decent enough movie, though I did find the lead actor's performance to be a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the cast.

I’m not entirely sure how I stumbled upon this movie, but all I knew going in was that it fell under the "sci-fi" umbrella, and I have to admit, it genuinely blew me away.

It seems to be one of those polarizing films—the kind where people either absolutely adore it or completely despise it. 🙂))

Impressive. I went into this expecting your run-of-the-mill, cookie-cutter American sci-fi blockbuster, but what I actually found was... quite a pleasant surprise. 🙂

The ending is flawless; it provides a perfect sense of closure to the entire narrative.
