William Green4 said:which is incredibly difficult for you, especially when I'm discussing things you don't quite grasp...

You never actually contribute to the discussion; you just troll and derail the thread with off-topic comments.☕

William Green4 said:this is peak rudeness, typical of you—it's a perfect reflection of your level of manners and education.
I assume you're waiting for me to snap back, but I won't. Your posts speak volumes about who you are...

It’s a shame. It would be nice if you carried yourself here the way you do elsewhere... right now, you're just acting like a total mama's boy.😍

William Green4 said:In that case, the MEP should have been the one to issue the warning, not you, and I wouldn't have said a word...

So what, we're deciding who gets to hand out penalties now?😂 🤣 😂

William Green4 said:For what reason?
Have you ever actually realized when you were wrong?

Yes, I have. And my mistakes have been corrected. The threads are still there...😛

William Green4 said:I sent you a complaint regarding that signature, but instead of addressing it, you just handed me another warning for some vague nonsense.

Did you send me a PM?

William Green4 said:And I am certainly no carbon copy; that’s just another example of your crude way of speaking...
And of course, you’ll proudly claim you have what it takes to be a mod... as if.
The goal is to build a civilized forum, yet the mods talk like they're driving stagecoaches.

You actually have another username you've posted under, so this is clearly a clone.

William Green4 said:If I'm not mistaken, the thread title is "Do administrators ever actually respect objections."
And naturally, I have plenty to say about that.

So, what's your response to that? 🍿

William Green4 said:No chance...
There is no reason for me to intervene in a thread where fleet rates, firmer, and similar characters are mentioned under your protection, giving advice. But it suits you to act like anyone else on the thread is inferior to you, successfully driving them away...
Enjoy yourself...

Being a sycophant has never been penalized... and I don't intend to start now. If it bothers you when someone mentions a fleet rate, then politely correct them... which is something you can't seem to do.

edit: 🤣 Well, for goodness sake, it was you all along. You should have spoken up sooner; things would have made much more sense. 😘
I won't engage in a circular argument. My stance remains exactly as it was before.

Laura Evans3 said:you never actually contribute anything relevant to the topic; it’s just constant sarcasm and off-topic remarks☕:

It seems you aren't reading with any actual comprehension...

It's a shame... it would be great if you expressed yourself here the way you do elsewhere... you play the perfect little boy here.😍

Like what?

So, from now on, we get to decide who hands out the penalties?😂🤣😂

It feels pretty unfair to hand out penalties when you don't even understand the subject matter, doesn't it?

I have... and my mistakes have been corrected... the threads exist...😛

That's hard to swallow, because your biggest mistake was becoming a moderator in the first place, and that's something that can't be undone...

Did you send me a PM?

Of course, I sent one to you and to Desiree, and Desiree mentioned she couldn't be everywhere at once and suggested I reach out to the PDF moderator instead...

You still have another username you've used, which means this is just a clone account...

And so what?

Being a newbie shouldn't ever be penalized... and I'm not suggesting we punish them... if someone bothers you by mentioning the fleet rate, just politely correct them... which is something you seem unable to do...

The problem with being a "newbie" is that it often comes with an underlying layer of arrogance and rudeness.
You don't need to penalize someone for being ignorant, but if I ask them nicely to explain what a firm is, and after I've laid out how these things work, they respond by telling me to go get mental help—with your blessing, no less—well, should I really be expected to remain polite?
edit: 🤣 Good grief, I should have realized it was you all along... if you had just spoken up sooner, everything would have made much more sense to me... 😘 🙂
So, did I actually lodge a complaint regarding the signature, or did I not?☕
And while we're at it, I think it would be a matter of basic courtesy to respect my decision regarding why that particular username was banned—don't you agree?

William Green4, if it helps, I've dealt with insults much worse than that "get help" comment you mentioned.
Just constant, unprovoked attacks from certain "devoted mothers" over on the Republican Party forums. I shared my perspective quite calmly—nothing even aimed at them, and some of the other moms actually agreed with me—but apparently, it wasn't "loyal" enough to their specific agenda, so they went after me like lunatics. And somehow, I'm the one who ends up getting banned.
Because after three pages of them hurling insults, twisting my words, and lying through their teeth, I didn't stoop to the level of Elvis Presley or Nancy Sinatra. 🙄
The moderator wiped out plenty of my posts, while leaving theirs untouched—specifically the ones where they insult me or frame me to look like an idiot.
When I tried to complain, the moderator played dumb until her super-mod stepped in to defend her and just shut the whole thread down. Honestly, she didn't even address the actual issues; she mostly just helped twist things further out of context. 🙄
In the end, Tyndall handed me a ban and claimed my posting was just spam.
I guess filing an appeal via the official PDF is considered spam now? Unbelievable. 🤣🤣🤣

fl:

Well, don't try to comfort me...
because when you look at a thread where people are actually sharing life-or-death advice, it feels entirely predictable that after someone repeatedly posts nonsense, you call them out, and suddenly you're the one getting slapped with a massive penalty.
It’s like how if someone were to drag my mother’s name through the mud without any justification, they might only walk away with a slap on the wrist, while calling out stupidity gets you the heavy hammer.
So, naturally, you’re going to vent about it, but nobody is going to offer an ounce of sympathy or support.
And really, why should anyone be surprised by this dynamic?
I honestly have to wonder what the point of the PŽK even is.
Is it just to provide a platform for arrogant moderators to swoop in and mess things up? Because that's how it feels...
The baseline rule of decent conduct should be simple: if I am lodging a complaint against Moderator A, then Moderator B shouldn't be jumping into the fray to clutter the discussion.
But instead, we see situations where Moderator A starts picking on a user, Moderator B gets tangled up in the mess, and then Moderator B ends up being scolded ruthlessly just for being involved.
They talk a big game about maintaining a civilized community here, but you can certainly think whatever you want about that claim...

William Green4 said:You aren't really reading for comprehension...

It’s easy to say that when you always have to be right.😉

William Green4 said:For instance?

Take a closer look at the post above. If you read it more carefully, you'll notice I've already started discussing how my way of expressing myself on the Homić topic has changed over time—both back then and how I approach it now.

William Green4 said:It’s kind of a fool's errand to start gluing pieces together if you don't even understand what you're building, isn't it?

You should tell the moderator that they ought to close this thread just because you don't like the direction it's taking. That doesn't make it off-topic. Why didn't you weigh in on the "Rules" thread or just send a PM to the MEP?
You’ve handed me three warnings across both my accounts now. One was for nothing more than leaving a smiley face in a post—which seems completely on-topic to me. I mean, unless there are some secret technical specifications coded into emojis that are vital to the Homić discussion, I don't see the issue. Then there was the second one for... Pleasant. I had that conversation with Praetoriana and Mihac, and right after, I ended up having to delete over fifty of my own posts. Then there was that third warning explained above...
Can you explain to me how those three specific posts were tied to the HomeBox topic, especially since I was the one who actually started the thread?

William Green4 said:Look, it’s tough, but honestly, it was your mistake to take on the moderator role in the first place—and clearly, that hasn't been sorted out yet.

It’s a classic logical fallacy: attacking the person instead of their argument. Instead of actually addressing the points being made, someone just goes after the individual's character or traits to discredit them. It’s a lazy way to win a debate, and honestly, it doesn't hold any water once you look past the insults. I remember seeing this happen during a heated town hall meeting back in Chicago last year—someone started shouting about a speaker's background rather than answering their actual policy proposal. It was pretty disappointing to watch. If we want meaningful discussions, we have to stick to the facts. 🙂

William Green4 said:No worries, same to you and Desiree. She actually mentioned she can't be everywhere at once, so she suggested I just reach out to the PDF moderator directly.

And you thought I was the one to come to for this? 🤣🤣🤣
I went back through my saved private messages... and there's absolutely no sign of your PM.
Here’s another interesting thing to consider: the user whose signature you’re mourning (I’m assuming that’s just some bottom-feeder, right?) hasn't even been active on the homicide threads, nor have they touched an internet forum since late July. Meanwhile, that previous account you claim you sent a PM from was completely inactive after May. 😕 😕

William Green4 As requested by:
So what?

So, what part of this isn't clicking for you?

William Green4 said:Njubizam has one major flaw, and that’s the sheer arrogance and rudeness you encounter there.
You don't need to punish someone just because they're clueless. But if I approach them politely and ask for their take on how a firm operates, only to have them tell me to "get help" after I've tried explaining the mechanics of it—and you've basically given them the green light to be a jerk—then I really shouldn't be expected to play nice, right?

Oh... so it was you. I'm finished. The way he sees things... just the way only you can put it. I've finished my review. It seems like every time some total amateur shows up around here...

William Green4 said:So, did I actually file a complaint about the signature, or didn't I?☕

I can't say for sure, since I don't have your PM. Plus, if we’re talking about that specific signature and the user involved, we still need another month or two to clear things up. If I've got the wrong idea, just send me a PM letting me know which signature you're referring to.

William Green4 said:By the way, don't you think it would be a nice gesture to respect my decision regarding why that user was banned?

You’re the one who pulled that out from under the rug... not me.

William Green4 said:Don't try to comfort me... I guess.
So, I guess it’s perfectly normal now. You have a thread full of life-threateningly bad advice, you call out someone for being an idiot, and you get rewarded with 500 points. Maybe that's just how things work here.
If someone happens to say something wrong about my mother, I guess they only get docked 35 points. Maybe.
I guess it’s only natural to complain about this, though I doubt anyone actually cares. Maybe.
So, I guess there’s really no reason to be surprised.
I guess I wonder what the point of the PŽK even is. Maybe it's just there.
I guess this is why... just waiting for those arrogant mods to show up and start messing things up.
Basic etiquette should be simple: if I’m complaining about Option A, then Option B doesn't need to jump in and clutter things up with spam. I guess.
When user A starts picking fights and user B gets tangled up in the mess, I guess they just go ahead and tear user B apart like none of it is their business. Maybe.
They're talking about some filthy forum, I suppose... maybe.

Yeah, they’re incredibly unfair. I guess you can tell how much people actually respect the PŽK and its mods by the fact that some user—right after insulting me—actually said, "He's just complaining about the PŽK."😂!
I mean, what else is there to say?
Closing threads on the PŽK is just the height of stupidity, I guess.
So, the "How to report a moderator" thread is closed. I guess that's that.
Maybe there's no reason to include a "How to report a moderator" section in a PDF titled "Messages, Wishes, and Comments." I guess it just doesn't fit the theme. 😕
If people want to talk about it, they should be allowed to. I guess there's no reason to shut the thread down.

Alex Barnes8 said:Why isn't there a specific thread titled "How to report a moderator?" included in that "Feedback and Suggestions" PDF?

The reason is that you can report a moderator anywhere on this entire subforum...
If you've been banned, there's a dedicated space for banned users. If you've been kicked out entirely, we have a thread for that. If you have something specific in mind, just start a new thread... 🙂

If that were the case, I guess there wouldn't be any actual threads left, just a bunch of empty subforum titles. Maybe.🤣

Of course, because you're always right...😉

I am certainly not, and I never actually claimed to be...
I don't venture into topics where I lack any real expertise, nor do I write about them; rather, if something catches my interest, I simply ask a question—without adding those little jabs suggesting someone needs medical attention.....

If you take a moment to read the previous post more carefully, you'll see you've already started arguing about how you used to express yourself versus how you're expressing yourself now regarding the Homebox topic...

What exactly is this Homebox topic?
And how, precisely, am I expressing myself...
I get the distinct impression you're just trying to bait me into a reaction, hoping I'll lose my cool, but I assure you, that isn't going to happen....

Tell the moderator they should have closed the thread since you didn't like the direction it was taking, even though it wasn't off-topic. Why didn't you speak up in the "Rules" thread or send a PM to the MEP?

Once again, you're getting tangled up in things you don't truly understand...
That dilemma has been present since the very inception of this thread...
When a discussion hasn't gone on for two months, the conversation eventually drifts toward pink bubblegum—that's a bit of an exaggeration just to help you grasp the point.....

Between both of my accounts, you've given me a total of three warnings... one for posting nothing but "smiley faces"—which is perfectly on-topic, wouldn't you agree? Or perhaps there are technical specifications encoded within those smileys that are vital to the Homebox topic? The second was for the pleasant conversation between you, Praetoriana, and Mihac, which resulted in me having to delete over 50 posts, and then there's the third warning explained above...
So please, explain to me how any of those three warnings were actually related to the Homebox topic in a way that warranted me issuing them.

Since you're being so brazen by using a third alias, I think I'll be completely unfair and tell you that I did reach out to the MEP regarding your behavior, and he admitted in a PM that you had made a mistake—that you should have issued other warnings as well, but hadn't.
He corrected that error, and we settled things civilly.
But that isn't the case with you, because you intentionally ignore insults, yet you seem quite fond of it when someone adds a comment about needing psychiatric help.
For things like that, a warning is required, plain and simple!
Yet you didn't issue one......

And so you came to me? 🤣🤣🤣
I've reviewed my saved private messages... and there is NO PM from you...
Another interesting observation is that the user whose signature you are defending (I assume you mean that certain individual?) is active on the Homebox topic, and their PDF Internet account only appeared at the end of July, whereas your previous account, which you claim sent me a PM, was only active until the end of May... 😕😕

Of course, you’re only ever speaking the absolute truth...
Fine, let’s say I’m lying. But now that you’ve uncovered that signature, I have to wonder: what exactly do you plan to do about it?

Oh wow... you were just so sweet to him... acting with that signature gentle touch of yours... every single time some newcomer shows up...

Just a blatant lie...

It's pretty obvious you aren't, since I haven't received a PM from you... and if we're talking about that specific signature and that particular user, we're still a couple of months out... (unless we aren't, in which case, just send me a PM clarifying which signature you mean...)

I am done sending you any more PMs, because you have a habit of doctoring them until they're unrecognizable...

I'm the one who pulled that out from under the rug, not you.

I feel the need to provide a thorough explanation here, mostly because you tend to follow the pattern of most moderators—relying on a tiny handful of posts to make a point or fixating on a word that's already been used over and over again...
Ultimately, however, I am the one who decides where the line is drawn regarding an old username, because that is my prerogative...

if you find yourself banned, there is a dedicated space for those who have been barred from the community; if you’ve been tossed out entirely, we have a thread for the exiles; and if there is a specific issue at hand, you simply start a new discussion topic... 🙂

It seems you believe you have an answer for every single situation...
We have moderators and even head moderators overseeing this platform, and they are the ones who establish the rules and decide what stays and what goes.
Who exactly are you to dictate the boundaries of what is acceptable here?

William Green4 said:Ever since ZgSash left, the pattern here is predictable.
Every single time there’s a complaint thread, you get these random trolls—who happen to be mods, mind you—showing up with zero relevance to the topic and just talking in circles until it's unbearable.
Then, the mod in charge of this PDF jumps in and locks the whole thing down without actually solving a damn thing.
It stays like that until someone finally snaps and loses their cool, only to get banned because apparently, "that's not how we talk here."
But I bet Laura Evans3 won't be getting a warning for her little outburst.
If I wrote that on any other thread, I’d be slapped with a ban instantly, and honestly? I'd deserve it...

Look, I miss ZgSash too, but you have to respect a guy's choice to walk away when he's had enough of this nonsense.
It's his right, plain and simple.....

🤣

I basically wrote the same thing once, then deleted it because I was terrified they'd come after me. They always find someone to "call out" eventually.😁

William Green4 said:Of course I didn't, and that’s certainly not something I ever said...
I don't typically dive into topics I know nothing about. I'm not one to write just for the sake of it. If something genuinely catches my interest, I’ll ask. I prefer to skip the unsolicited advice and just get straight to the question.

Yeah... you just show up, derail the whole conversation, and start messing with people who actually know what they're talking about.

William Green4 said:What exactly is Homić’s main point here?
So, how exactly am I supposed to express myself now?
I get the feeling you're trying to push my buttons just to see if I'll snap, but that isn't going to happen.

By just the way you've been writing in this thread, you've completely lost it.

William Green4 said:You’re getting tangled up in something you don't quite understand again...
That dilemma has been baked into this thread since the very first post.
Whenever there’s a lull like this for a couple of months, the conversation eventually drifts back to those pink flip-flops. I’m using that as a bit of a metaphor to help make my point clearer...

Honestly, I think it would be best if we just closed this thread and never spoke about Hombox again. At this rate, the conversation is eventually going to devolve into something as trivial as discussing bikini waxing. I’m being blunt because it seems like that's the only way to get through to you.
If you're actually bothered by people wearing pink tube tops and acting like total frat boys, why even show up to this thread? Why bother asking for a definition of the fleet rate if that's the kind of crowd you can't stand?
The MEP mentioned back in that thread about the card system that they were going to look into making some changes. Well, nothing has actually happened. It seems like things are just staying exactly as they are. So, you really need to make a call—decide if you're still planning on coming or not.

William Green4 said:Since "rudeness" seems to be your middle name, I’ve decided to be completely unfair. I actually reached out to the MEP to complain about how you've been acting. He admitted to me in a PM that you were in the wrong—you should have issued a warning for that part too, but you didn't.
He stepped up and fixed the mistake, so we decided to part ways on good terms.
I don't think that's quite the case with you. It feels like you aren't actually ignoring the insults on purpose; rather, you just seem to find it charming whenever someone decides to chime in with unsolicited medical advice.
That kind of behavior warrants a permanent ban, period.
And you didn't give in, either...

You didn't actually send anyone a private message about this. You posted your complaint in the "appeals for warnings" thread, and those posts haven't even been removed yet. Even the MEP replied to you right there in that thread. So, why are you getting worked up all over again?
He completely agreed with the warning you received from me, and he didn't change a single thing... if you're still insisting otherwise, then please, show me the links to the posts in the Homebox thread that I supposedly flagged incorrectly. And as for who the MEP behind this is...

William Green4 said:Of course, you're just telling nothing but the absolute truth...
Fine, I'm lying. But now that you've discovered that signature, I have to wonder what your next move will be.

I'll take action once you explain how you managed to report a user who posted on the Homebox thread long after their old handle had gone inactive. It makes zero sense for you to throw me under the bus and then demand something from me...

William Green4 said:Just a plain old lie.......

You seem to pop up in the thread every single time some newbie says something stupid... never when someone sensible is actually making a point...

William Green4 said:I'm done sending you any PMs, because you just fake them so convincingly......

Another classic ad hominem attack. But I'm sure you'll dodge it just like you did in your last post, quoting everything except the actual point... no links, no specific posts, nothing at all.

William Green4 said:Because of the lack of explanation; you're prone, just like most mods, to using a tiny number of posts as an excuse to complain, or relying on those overused buzzwords...
Actually, I'm the one who decides where the line is drawn regarding old handles, because that's my right.

No, that isn't your right. 😉 Does it even make sense to discuss things involving an old handle while hiding behind a new one?

William Green4 said:And once again, you're trying to fit a lid on every single pot.
There are different modes for this PDF, including a super mode, and they dictate exactly what you can and cannot do.
Who exactly do you think you are, deciding what's allowed here and what isn't?

And who exactly are you to decide what I can or can't say here? For the record, I didn't tell her what she's allowed to post or what isn't. I simply explained that she doesn't need to stick strictly to one single topic like "how to report a moderator." I told her she’s more than welcome to start a new thread if her idea doesn't fit into the existing ones.
You’re busy criticizing my choice of bowls and lids, yet here you are, quoting my response to another woman on this forum just to tear it apart. 🙏

Olivia Moore51 said:🙏🤣What’s the actual standard here? Are we just supposed to tally up every time someone gets banned or something? Is there anyone actually in charge who handles these things?
It’s always the same story. 🤣

When I issued a ban, if someone filed a complaint, I made sure to step up and address it personally. Just because a few moderators fail to do their jobs doesn't mean everyone on the team is lacking. 🙂
