NuLog: Questions, tips, and troubleshooting

Hey everyone.

So, I decided to set up NuLog on my machine. From what I can see, it’s doing a pretty solid job capturing everything—passwords, browsing history, when files get opened, keystrokes, you name it.

But here's the weird part: looking through all the different messaging apps I use, I noticed it just isn't catching the password for AOL Instant Messenger. It's bizarre. It works perfectly fine for Windows Live Messenger, Zoom, logging into my email, and basically everything else, yet there's this one massive gap.
Does anyone here have any idea why it's completely ignoring the login for AOL Instant Messenger?

Is all this captured data being stored somewhere on the computer in a text file or something?
Basically, I tried to a report, and it ended up saving as an icon for Internet Explorer. Everything I typed is right there in that list. Does that mean the info was sent off somewhere onto the internet?? 😕😲

Hey there.
So, I was hanging out in this computer lab—it’s got about 30 workstations and gets tons of foot traffic every single day—and I stumbled upon something pretty shady. There are keyloggers installed on every single machine.
People are using these computers to check their personal emails and scroll through Facebook, so seeing those keyloggers sitting there feels totally gutsy, disrespectful, immoral... honestly, it feels illegal.
Am I totally off base here? And if I'm right, what can even be done about it?😕
My gut tells me the system admin set them up, but it just doesn't make sense to me why they would be snooping through everyone's private photos and reading half the town's emails 🤷like that.
It's basically identity theft, plain and simple.😕
Can someone please give me some advice on how to handle this?

Avoid that thing at all costs. The only way I wouldn't is if it was some amateur, home-brewed keylogger that wasn't even masking its processes... if that's the case, just kill it immediately. 🙂

Man, whenever I start thinking back to my high school computer science classes... I just remember sitting there typing out stuff like "trial mode keylogger"
