Way to go, Blanka Vlašić. Honestly, we all saw this coming since she’s been the absolute gold standard in this event for years now...

It feels like Usain Bolt is really just running against himself at this point. Usually, in almost any other sport, having intense competition pushes an athlete to reach new heights, but for him, it seems like that rule doesn't quite apply. It’s actually a bit of a shame there isn't anyone out there capable of pushing him harder, because looking at his potential, he could definitely be clocking times even faster than this...

Usain Bolt is truly something else. He just runs, shatters records, and grabs medals—all while looking like he’s having the time of his life. Massive respect to the man! My favorite moment had to be him and Asafa at the 100m medal ceremony; they were posing for photos, and Asafa looked so wiped out that Bolt couldn't stop laughing. They were both exhausted, yet Bolt was just there cracking up. Go Team USA!!😁

An ESPN's commentator mentioned that if they had been running at high altitude, like in Mexico City, it probably would have been under 19 seconds yesterday.

When it comes to Bolt, if you judged him based on just the first hundred meters of a 200m race, he’d probably shatter the record all over again...
And huge respect to Blanka; I’m watching the high jump right now and wondering if I could ever clear that height... definitely not. 😁
It feels a little silly that they didn't broadcast the track events until the end, but at least there were some goals in the game.
