I walk into my apartment...
I pull open a drawer—completely empty.
I flip through a book—every single page is white, pristine, and utterly blank.
I check the fridge—nothing. Just one solitary can sitting there.
I crack that can open—it’s EMPTY.
I log onto Reddit—my inbox is totally clear. Not a single "You have received an infraction..." notification to be found... nothing.
God, I must be dreaming.
Then, I wake up.
Everything is back. Nothing is empty anymore.

My penalty wasn't reduced, but my issue wasn't actually with the penalty itself; it was that I was penalized for the act of "protesting." Once I realized that only Enki and a handful of others truly grasped that distinction, I understood the futility of it all, since I can change almost nothing on my own.
For the record, I haven't been fighting against atheists at all. If my math is right, Enki isn't religious, and Apemant—who is one of my favorite people on this board—is an atheist. So, what I was pushing back against had absolutely nothing to do with atheism. Not even close.

They are scattered everywhere—you'll find them tucked away within Christian circles, among the agnostics, the atheists, even within Muslim or Buddhist communities—but they always seem to exist on the periphery, living in the background while the louder, more structured groups take center stage.

The self-proclaimed "devout Catholics" and...dioIn the end, those "nobodies"—the ones who think they can just drift through life without a plan—will always find themselves sitting around a table, forced to strike a deal on how to divvy up everything from digital assets to the tangible, physical resources they actually need to survive. 😉
