darkmarlin16 said:Honestly, what idiots🙂 😛 😛—it’s like they aren't even looking at the onboard cameras or the drivers' helmets.

Their real issue is that they spend way too much energy worrying about what kind of nonsense they're going to blurt out on air next.

And because of that, they can't actually focus on the race itself.

To be perfectly honest, sitting here in my armchair, I feel like I have a better grasp of the overall race situation than both of them combined.

Which is just plain sad.🤷

Is it just me, or does it feel like Ferrari is one of the few cars struggling with reliability this season? ☕

It seems that way. 😍

Look, I know one little German kid went totally off track while it was pouring rain in Malaysia, and I also saw one little Briton slicing through the field, dropping five seconds a lap on everyone else during those last two rounds... so everything is pretty much relative. If you actually listen to Hamilton's post-race comments, he was complaining about tire pressure because both he and Smith were running a wet setup, whereas Ham had gone full wet mode.

It’s not just you; I suspect even Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali is feeling that exact same frustration.

There's just so much spray kicking up from under the car that I wonder what the airflow is even doing.
And honestly, Red Bull was totally dominating today (regardless of who's driving), even without the diffuser.

Look, if the diffuser doesn't make a huge difference in the rain—even though it's supposed to—it still shows the car is built killer for wet conditions. Adding the diffuser could just help manage the airflow in any situation... because you'd get way more out of it during dry races when speeds are higher and that air displacement really kicks in. That would basically mean the car is a beast in all conditions... not that the car isn't already insane on the dry!

Massa was miles ahead today... ☕just count Hamilton's spins and wild slides, then compare them to Massine taj's performance ☕

Whether Mass 😕had an engine failure or a gearbox issue doesn't change the fact that he's lost his touch in the rain ☕

And as for Hamilton's drive today and how he scraped those points... it could easily go down as some of the most damn luck we've ever seen in F1 history ☕

:🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
Thank God someone finally showed some common sense and objectivity... ☕

Let's be real here:

I mean, honestly—Mass was lightyears ahead today. Just count how many times Hamilton spun out or went off track, then compare that to Massine's clean run.

Whether Mass had an engine hiccup or a gearbox issue doesn't change the fact—it's nothing to do with his skill in the rain.

And man, that drive from Hamilton to snag those points? He definitely deserves a medal for having some of the most damn lucky breaks in NASCAR history.

:
Thank goodness someone finally spoke some sense!

Y'all just totally overlooked the actual lap counts for Mass and Hamilton.
Maybe that’s where the real gap lies—in how many times they actually stayed on the asphalt.

man, there is so much stuff to catch up on here😁

I’m gonna try to be constructive now, GO Felipe GO🙏

Is there anyone even close to him in terms of pure talent? Probably not. It’s honestly such a shame because he drives so well...

He managed to jump from 13th all the way to 3rd in that absolute tank of a car, but hey, that's just typical Ferrari 🙄, at least we know Felipe Massa can drive...

I am officially declaring him the king of bad luck...

It actually makes his driving look even better when you see how hard he had to fight for every inch...

piqet 🙏

hemic 😁 is solid, but man, he was driving like a complete idiot yesterday, totally lost his head🙏

Kovalainen had the hardest time out there yesterday because he couldn't find a single opening to pass, mostly because this guy was spinning around way too fast🤣

Props to Vettel, but if you ask me, both he and Kubica are incredible drivers—but if they don't get their act together soon, they're gonna be finished...

Vettel loves to squeeze in where he clearly doesn't belong. Like yesterday, he was trying to force his way past Gummie just by sheer willpower, even though he really should've just waited a lap or two for the guy to pit and then moved on...

Everything looked pretty smart yesterday, but if Lewis Hamilton had been in that spot instead, they probably both would've ended up sliding into the gravel trap. Sometimes you just gotta stay chill and read the situation...🙏

Being objective here:

I mean, honestly, Felipe Massa was way better today. Just count how many times Hamilton spun off or lost control, then compare that to what Felipe went through.

Whether it was a blown engine or a gearbox issue for Felipe, it’s got nothing to do with knowing how to handle it in the rain.

And as for Hamilton’s drive today and grabbing those points? It could easily be considered one of the biggest lucky breaks in Formula 1 history.

:
Thank God someone finally sounds sane and objective.

You guys just forgot to look at the actual laps completed by Felipe versus Hamilton.
Maybe that's where the real difference lies—in the number of times they both went wide.

It’s pretty easy to crunch the numbers—how many laps Hamilton did before Felipe’s breakdown compared to how many Felipe actually managed...

I think we gotta stay grounded and admit that Hamilton was a total disaster yesterday...

Plus, I’d personally penalize him for that sloppy move cutting back onto the track. There wasn't enough time for a move like that, and there's zero space to go full throttle right after a corner like that without hitting someone.

When I saw him clumsily cutting back on while cars were swerving to miss him, I immediately thought about that massive crash where Zanardi got wrecked.👎

it's basically the heartland. just deep, wide-open soul territory. kaže:
Honestly, I’m just gonna say it: Felipe Massa was better than Lewis Hamilton. There, I said it. Don't come for me in the comments. It’s just how I see it when I look back at the racing.😕😵

Sometimes you just gotta be real about things and look at the facts, you know? Like, being objective matters... regardless of whose side you're actually rooting for.😉

I mean, what is actually going on with Felipe Massa? Like, seriously... I can't quite put my finger on it. It’s like watching a guy try to fix a classic Mustang with a screwdriver when he clearly needs a whole damn shop. He just seems... off? I don't know. It's hard to explain without sounding like I'm overthinking it, but there's definitely something missing in his rhythm lately.
I mean, look, I get it. I really do. There’s definitely a joke to be made at his expense, and honestly, I respect the hell out of people just having a laugh. It’s all in good fun, right? But man... we are talking about a guy who missed out on being the Formula 1 World Champion by literally one single point. Just one. That's wild.
And that’s the thing about that Glock... you know, the one involved in those shady circumstances... it just doesn't sit right with me. It's like when you're driving through downtown Chicago and you see someone pull a stunt that feels totally off—just a gut feeling that something isn't adding up. You look at the facts, then you look at how things actually went down, and there's this weird gap between the two. It’s all just super sketchy, honestly.
Whatever people say, honestly... I don't really care what anyone thinks. Just whatever.

Look, I’ll be the first to admit it—Felipe Massa had his fair share of brain fart moments, no doubt. But honestly? He had way more good runs than bad ones. I keep saying this, but the guy is still the one with the most wins in this context. And you guys totally ignored the fact that he rolled up yesterday and snagged a P13. You didn't even mention it in your posts! Plus, let's be real, he was fighting with one of the absolute worst cars on the grid. It felt like the car was basically an anchor; if you subtract the weight of the pit equipment, the car itself probably felt like it was carrying an extra 15 pounds of dead weight just to stay on the track.

Look, honestly? You can just leave all that talk about objectivity and being unbiased to someone else. I'm really not feeling it. 😉

rustystag7 said:So what’s the problem with Felipe Massa???
I get it, making fun of him is easy, and I respect the right to joke around, but we are talking about a man who missed out on being the Formula 1 runner-up by a single point...
And that was a point secured by Glock under some pretty questionable circumstances....
Regardless of his words or whatever anyone thinks of him...

Sure, I’ll admit Massa had his fair share of brainless moments, but he had far more brilliant ones. Again, I'm just pointing out that this is a guy with a massive win count, a man who finished 13th to 3rd yesterday, yet not a single word was mentioned in yesterday's posts. And let's not forget he was fighting one of the most difficult cars on the track—honestly, if I recall, the car was maybe 5-7 kg heavier than the Pickett...

So, you can take those lectures about objectivity and bias somewhere else...😉

And here I thought I was alone in my views... honestly, the way people constantly underestimate Felipe Massa is just exhausting...☕

Don't sweat it, man. It's just the same old story, over and over again...
Look, one mistake from a guy and he basically nukes his own race—that’s the baseline, right? But now Lewis Hamilton pulls this twice as often and nobody even blinks. I mean, sure, people are whispering about it for a second, but honestly? Give it two more races and the whole thing will be old news. It just goes without saying. 🙏

Look, Tony, I think we have to be realistic here. Felipe Massa had a solid run yesterday before that unfortunate mechanical failure, but let’s not get carried away—it wasn't exactly a legendary performance that puts him on a pedestal 🤷

The guy was simply driving his heart out and making decent progress through the field

Felipe Massa didn't earn that reputation, and frankly, calling him a crybaby is ridiculous. It’s actually laughable to me because he just showed he has a heart and genuinely cares... if everyone were made of stone, we'd be nothing more than a degenerate society. go felipe baby👍

Seriously, what is wrong with this Ferrari crew??!!

What kind of movie are they filming? What year is it even? What are they actually doing out there??

I’m not even a fan, but honestly, I enjoy hating them way more when they’re actually a threat 😁

instead of struggling just to keep pace with Force India. 🙂

The guy was just driving hard and carving through the field.

Who said I was putting him on a pedestal?
I'm not. I'm just a fan, plain and simple. And honestly, given how good that Ferrari is, he’s doing great. That's all there is to it.

There's no deep philosophy here. Maybe it just looks like I'm overhyping him because of how people were posting about him at the last few tracks...

If thinking a guy drives well means I'm worshipping him, then fine, whatever, I guess I am.

I don't know what Ferrari is waiting for. If you ask me, their whole strategy is just totally wrong and, frankly, pretty stupid.

They're obsessing over finding some "perfect" driver when they don't even need one.

Both of these guys have proven they can win, regardless of their personalities. Honestly, the only person worth bringing into Ferrari—even if I'm not his biggest fan—is Alonso. Just because the guy actually understands the mechanics and knows what a car needs, whereas everyone else is just a total clown.

In my book, they really need to get their act together regarding race tactics and general leadership. Last season, they didn't make a single decent tactical call, and looking at this season, they seem even worse than they were last year. 🙄

I’m a bit out of the loop regarding the whole diffuser situation and what the current rulebook looks like...
From what I can tell, they've been cleared, so that's that. What's the move now for Ferrari? What are they actually doing about it?

😕

EDIT:
Just caught that article above. Honestly, what kind of geniuses are we dealing with? Now it feels like we might just be stuck waiting out half the season, sitting on our hands in protest because the FIA appeal was basically tossed out.

rustystag7 said:Since I haven't kept up with the specifics regarding those diffusers and what the current regulations look like...
as far as I can tell, they've been legalized, so that's that. What is Ferrari even planning to do about it at this point?

😕

EDIT:
Looking at this article above, it just confirms my suspicions. Absolute idiots. Now we’re stuck waiting out half the season while they sit on their hands, doing nothing to protest the FIA's decision to deny the appeal...

They're just playing games instead of getting the job done and giving us all the middle finger...😁

All I see is they're legal now, so what? What's Ferrari even going to do about it?

😕

EDIT:
Just saw that article above. Absolute idiots. Now they can just sit around for half the season doing nothing in protest because the FIA rejected the appeal. Great plan.

Yeah... so they'll just buzz around the track aimlessly, maybe let the engine bog down a bit...

I don't get it. How did they let themselves get caught without even testing the diffusers properly?

And even less—how did they think there was any chance they wouldn't be ruled legal? 😵
