How do I add a ticker to my signature?

I’ve been spending some time on the Tickerfactory website trying to design my own custom ticker, and my goal is to embed it directly into my signature so it displays as that animated scrolling graphic. However, no matter what I attempt to do, it just ends up appearing as a plain, static hyperlink instead of the actual image.

It is incredibly frustrating, and I would truly appreciate any guidance or assistance you could provide to help me resolve this.

You aren't actually allowed to have images in your signature.🤔

That’s right, images aren't an option for signatures here. If I were the OP, I’d suggest checking the 'Signature Permissions' on every subreddit you visit to see what the rules allow. These settings are ultimately handled by the forum administrator. On Reddit, the current setup shows Allow Image BB Code No and Can Upload Images for Signature No, which basically means you can't include any pictures in your signature.

Yeah, they were there, just not in the signature—they were in the actual posts...

And then, naturally, I must have misconfigured something on my end... but there is absolutely no reason why one shouldn't be able to include even a tiny little thumbnail 😢

Make your choice: you can either have a reasonably functional forum that actually works, or you can insist on having that little image in your signature while the entire site stays broken. Honestly, you lose either way if you can't even load the page.😉

It’s all the same to me since the site keeps freezing up on me 🤣 so I’m just going to go with this little thumbnail instead 🤣

By the way, why don't you just put that in your signature using text, then update it every single day? If you're hanging around here daily, obviously 😁

It feels quite clumsy to me that it just displays a raw link instead of letting me figure out how to strip this away www.bla bla and actually input a proper title... It’s honestly a bit tedious having to manually change the heading every single day 🤣and I don't believe it's a matter of simply choosing not to follow a standard practice, but rather an issue of 🙂 🤣

I’ve been messing with this forever and just can't get it right. Could someone be a total saint and walk me through the steps to do this properly?
