4. The username for the individual who will be responding on behalf of the sponsor (ideally using the company or product name).
5. The requested date (and potentially the time) for the thread launch, which can be up to 24 hours after we receive the order, provided payment has been processed.

Once the Marketing Forum receives your purchase order, they will send over a formal proposal. After the payment is completed, the Marketing Forum opens the thread, creates the account with your chosen username, and notifies the sponsor once the thread is live and provides the login credentials. It is the sponsor's responsibility to ensure there is someone available to answer questions from the community members.

Reddit reserves the right to decline any proposal for a sponsored thread, whether due to inappropriate content, lack of interest, or any other reason deemed necessary.

A sponsored profile is a Reddit service designed for sponsors and businesses to jump into discussions outside their specific sponsored thread, provided the topic relates to their business. Otherwise, advertising products or services—directly or indirectly—through standard posts is strictly against our forum rules.

The administration verifies every sponsored profile. These accounts act as official users who provide first-hand answers to product inquiries or offer expert commentary on relevant topics.

Sponsored profiles are allowed to include their own logo with a clickable link in their signature, a privilege not granted to regular users. Logo dimensions are capped at 600*60 pixels (jpg, png, gif), and the background must match the post's background.

A verified user is just an unpaid version of a sponsored user. Their whole purpose? To let businesses, public figures, and other pros communicate with Reddit users using a verified identity. It’s there so the audience knows they’re actually talking to a real person with a confirmed ID, providing a space for non-commercial self-presentation. Usually, it’s used to set the record straight when anonymous users start spreading inaccuracies about established legal or physical entities.

The difference between a verified profile and a sponsored one is simple: a verified profile doesn't have a profile picture with a link in the signature, it isn't paid for, and it can't be used for advertising.
