Is there any way I could get a text in the next couple of days about which contractors we need for Saturday morning? I’m heading out to Europe through Friday, and I really don't want to get blindsided by unexpected costs. If I know what we need, maybe more of us can swing back through Indianapolis before I leave so we can knock out as much work as possible by 1 or 2 PM.

I honestly should've just leashed that little one too... man, I was sweating bullets walking those 50 or 100 yards from the driveway to the house while the pup led the way. Those two big dogs were practically sniffing my crotch the whole time, and the little one wouldn't stop nipping at my pant legs the entire walk!☕.. I'm sending a specialist your way this Saturday, so please, for the love of God, be decent to him.🙂

The little one is a total badass when she's standing up to that brown beast (kind of like how you guys act when you're hanging out at a Dallas Cowboys game😁). But once that big one is leashed? You can't hear a peep out of either of them.

I was wondering if there’s any way I could get a quick heads-up via text over the next couple of days—maybe by Friday? I’m heading out on a trip to Europe through the weekend, and I’d love to avoid a total financial hit. If I know which contractors we actually need for Saturday morning, a larger group of us can swing back through Indianapolis before I leave, and we might be able to knock out one or two big tasks all at once.

The thing is, the dogs just aren't used to this much foot traffic in their yard, and you could tell they were acting pretty strange once they caught a whiff of whatever Nathan Ramirez11 🙂 was up to.
I’ve already gone ahead and "put a hold" on 😉one tile specialist

I really don't like this post...😁

I finally went ahead and "booked" a tile contractor. Well, I say booked, but it’s more like I’ve entered into a high-stakes hostage negotiation where I’m the one paying the ransom. Honestly, finding someone reliable around here feels like trying to find a decent slice of pizza in a town that only serves frozen cardboard. You spend weeks scrolling through Yelp, reading reviews from people who sound like they were paid by the contractor to write them, and then you finally settle on someone. Now, the anxiety is just setting in. Will he actually show up? Or am I going to be staring at my bare subfloor for three months while he suddenly develops a mysterious interest in woodworking instead? It's exhausting. 😉.

Wait, are you talking about the guy who actually did the work? The one who was on the ground getting his hands dirty? Because if you're looking for someone who just sits around talking big without delivering, you've got the wrong person. I don't deal in empty promises. I'm the one who stays until the job is finished, even when things go sideways. So, yeah. That’s me. 🤷 That guy who analogheron19 sent over to move that massive pile of junk... what a disaster.😬

Man, you've got to be kidding me.
😁
You honestly wouldn't believe it, but in just about an hour and a half or two, that whole mountain of debris was completely moved.

I’ve already "booked" a contractor for some tiling work 😉.

It wasn't exactly my best moment when that big guy started sniffing all over me today. Thank God you were actually there 😁

When you're the kind of person everyone wants to be around, you end up attracting all sorts, even the absolute headaches.😁

😂 I'm dying here.

Honestly, they're pretty chill; the only thing is that huge beast gets a little grumpy if you stop petting her😍.

Don't tell me you were right behind me.. what a missed opportunity.🤷

Since I'm totally out of the loop—did we actually get this stuff sorted out?

Not yet, we’re still waiting on all of it.

I haven't seen this before, but if you've already got the boiler from Silvercat, then I can handle these two pipes. That way, he could just come in with that cabinet, right? If I'm following correctly, is that everything left on the list?

As far as I'm concerned, I'm down whenever we can make it work🙂

Actually, I think I've even got a toilet tank sitting in my garage, still in the box, so I can donate that too if it helps...🙂

that would be awesome 🙂

The best part is the dogs are totally chill, except for that absolute beast who gets a little cranky when you stop petting her 😍.

Don't tell me you showed up right after me... what a waste. 🤷
Satori keeps insisting it’s impossible we didn't run into each other, because if I went in and you came out... 🤷... just a few seconds apart, dammit. And honestly, the highlight was riding my bike inside. Now the kid asks me if she can ride it for a bit, I say sure, obviously... then fifteen minutes later, as I'm heading out, she asks if I'll just give her the bike. 😎😁

Yeah, and we're still missing the shower stall—but hey, we can probably scrape the cash together for that whenever we actually need it.
