Best alternatives to Nero Burning ROM?

Not sure if this is the right spot for this one, but here goes—whenever I’m streaming TV shows, everything works perfectly fine, full seasons and all...

Up until now, I haven't really messed with movies on my DivX player, just watched them on my PC, while the series always played on the console...

But now, I've realized that almost every single movie cuts out right at the 1 hour and 20 minute mark, basically at the 80th minute...😲 😕 🤷

If I’ve managed to grasp what the author was getting at, you burn a movie onto a Blu-ray Player and then it just cuts out after about 80 minutes every single time? Or maybe...

Yeah, exactly that.

Does it crash when you're burning a CD, or does the same thing happen if you try a DVD?

The machine doesn't really care. If the file is under 700MB, it labels it a CD; if it's a GB or more, it calls it a DVD...
And I always just stick to burning DVDs...
Man, I used to burn movies all the time and they worked fine...

They run on the PC...

Another thing—I can't speed them up on the DVix, not at 2x, 4x, 16x, or even 32x. 🤷

All my sitcoms play just fine, like those 20-minute ones, whole seasons, or stuff like The Sopranos where episodes are 45 minutes, entire seasons...
And I can speed those up without any issues... 🤷

Yeah, right... CD Burner Pro is only about 10MB, whereas Windows 10 (or whatever else you're running) is packed with 700MB of useless bloatware, media players, and all that other junk that just slows down my PC.

If you ask me, go with CdBurnerPRO—even if you aren't tech-savvy, the icons make it pretty obvious what each setting actually does.

Personally, I find it gets the job done perfectly for me.

With Adobe Creative Cloud available in the English language, even those who aren't particularly tech-savvy can manage to navigate it without much trouble...
