Sure, he had his moments. But honestly? Nobody else out there has talent like that right now.

then you look at Nick, right? He spent two years as a Mercedes test driver, was runner-up, then champion, and still nothing. Just got stuck with a total lemon 👎

If he’d also had those Michelin tires that were actually stable and predictable... you know, if he was actually on par with the competition in that department too...

The races were dull for a ton of different reasons. It's the rules, plus the teams weren't nearly as cutthroat back then as they are today. Nowadays, you actually see way more overtaking than you used to...

Sumia is just too hungry for a win, you know? He can't see anything else in front of him. But man, once he learns how to reel that aggression in while keeping that same killer instinct... that's when he'll be unstoppable.

Honestly, this crash wasn't any stupider than those legendary collisions between Senna and Prost...

If they’d just stuck with the same tires from 2005 and 2006, we probably would've walked away with even more titles, regardless of those Renault dampers. I mean, they struggled enough just dealing with those alone!!
In 2006, he was basically dominating everything, but having that car break down twice... yeah, that's why the title slipped away. It really just comes down to the car itself.

If I remember correctly, back in '95, Hill was driving way too aggressive and kept clashing with Schumi. Later, when he was at Ferrari and the car was a total lemon, Hakkinen ended up taking the title...

I honestly think Vettel has a bright future ahead of him if he can just land a decent car!!! You seriously can't ignore his talent!!

Yeah, but what I'm trying to say is that Hakkinen really had his work cut out for him in a much slower car. He’s one of those guys who actually admitted the other guy was better, just like Damon Hill did. They actually understood the situation, so they aren't just talking nonsense!!

Hill used to mention that when he was chasing Schumi, there were moments where he felt like he
was hitting the apex perfectly at max speed, but Schumi would still pull away. He’d literally clench his fists thinking, "Man, Schumi is flying, he went in way too fast," only to be disappointed because Schumi somehow stayed on the track!! That little difference in how they entered a corner—that specific feeling—is exactly what gave Schumi the edge he has today!
Not everyone has to agree with me, I guess....

In my book, the greats were Peterson, Senna, Schumacher, Montoya, Hakkinen, Alonso, Raikkonen, and Hamilton—though don't go thinking I've listed them in any particular order of quality...
