What a bunch of pretentious nonsense—and honestly, they haven't even bothered to clarify if ticket prices are jumping by 10%, 20%, 50%, or even 100%.

At least they aren't being this vague over here.

To be frank, this kind of marketing stunt just leaves me feeling completely indifferent toward the whole festival. ☕

I suppose Live Nation is just as terrible when it comes to this stuff, though at least there we have some idea of which artists might show up and what The Cave will look like.

It’s the exact same playbook used by Lollapalooza and a ton of other massive festivals, including the whole VIP Pass setup. It's all about cultivating that loyal fanbase and finding ways to save a buck, which honestly isn't a bad move if you think about it 😁 besides, it’s not like I can't just flip a ticket to someone else if I change my mind later

According to what people are saying on other forums and even on MySpace bulletins, they’re focusing on the headliners playing at Coachella, and they're planning to mash up the genres over both days... so we're talking rock, electropop, and nu rave ( 🙏 ) mixed with house

And honestly, that’s just how they phrased it in the press release... everyone I know lost their minds when they saw Kraftwerk on the lineup, though I have my doubts about half of them, and frankly, I'd prefer it that way. With all due respect, I want to be jumping, not just standing there staring at 😬...

Heh, if I had my way, the lineup would at least include The National, Mum, Battles, Aesop Rock, Minus the Bear, Diplo, Jens Lekman, Architecture in Helsinki, Datarock, Kraftwerk, Death Cab for Cutie, Turbonegro, M.I.A., Islands, Akron Family, Dredg, Uffie, My Morning Jacket, Gogol Bordello, The Streets, Metric, Simian Mobile Disco, Dmitra from Paris, and Les Savy Fav.

What kind of nonsense is this about Coachella? Just because there's some partnership with that festival doesn't mean anything specific about the lineup. It just means you have someone reliable who can hit up agencies and book cool bands, but that won't necessarily dictate who shows up at this year's Coachella... plus, most of those bands aren't even hitting the road in the States until July, so they definitely won't be around in mid-June anyway.

If we're talking about big-name guests, we should actually be looking at which festivals are happening during that window here in the US instead of obsessing over California.🙄

Honestly, this whole thing about Coachella is just stupid and totally taken out of context by the press. All anyone was trying to say is that a handful of artists playing at this year's Coachella are also hitting the lineup for Harter. There’s zero official festival partnership going on here, and nobody is trying to "leech" off the California lineup to boost their own numbers.

If things turn out just like they did last time, I’ll be the happiest person in the room.

That crazy deal on two-day passes for $33 is still live for today. Starting tomorrow, you're looking at the two-day pass for $47. That price should hold until mid-April before they hike it up a bit again.

For the current lineup, the absolute best "bang for your buck" ticket would be $17.☕
