What kind of bloodline are we even talking about here? I’m not getting into ancestry or roots... I’m strictly talking about where someone was actually born. If you go anywhere in California and ask what counts as being from the coast, they aren't going to start rambling about ancient lineages, they'll just tell you you're a local from San Diego, or maybe Santa Barbara, or maybe someone from San Francisco... it's simple. And honestly, if you talk to some of those folks out in the coastal towns, they'll probably look at anyone living just a few miles inland and act like they're from a completely different world altogether...

I mean, if you go asking people across the US who the Istrian or Rijeka natives are... they’ll give you those specific labels, and you’ll just swallow it whole... again, right?
And as for those valley folks... well, that label is just like calling your "true urban Californians" by some local nickname.

Long story short: I hope tomorrow, both the coastal types and the valley dwellers take that heavy workload from our Northern colleagues and melt it down into something actually valuable!

People seem to jump down anyone's throat the second they open their mouth, even if they're just joking around. Honestly, I actually found the comment about lazy Californians and the exhausted national team pretty funny and lighthearted.
Instead of celebrating, it's just constant, mindless bickering. I'll be polite and refrain from saying exactly what I think about the whole situation, but I've had enough. If we had made it to the finals of an NBA championship or a major soccer tournament, would everyone be fighting then? Would the servers crash? No. But the moment we reach the only final we've ever played in for the NBA, suddenly there's drama everywhere. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
