๐Ÿ™ Honestly, you can just close this thread now.

PS
If someone is against ฤŒervar, they're just a fool who let those who hate America wash their brains.

Man, we really need more writers from The Washington Post around here.

Way to go, guys! Weโ€™re absolutely crushing it!!!

Why is everyone fighting already? Can't we just enjoy the win for once? It feels like there's always someone looking for something to complain about...

Anyone who has an issue with me, has an issue with America too!!!

Man, this forum is something else. You can get shut down just for mentioning cookies, and itโ€™s usually some total idiot from the political scene doing the silencing.

If youโ€™re taking sides against ฤŒervar, you aren't standing up for Americaโ€”you're just standing against common sense.

My god, the number of self-proclaimed basketball "experts" on this forum is staggering (and Iโ€™m sure most of you have at least one World Cup or Olympic gold medal tucked away in your trophy cases ๐Ÿ™„ ).

People, how do you not get it? ฤŒervar is built different.

Look, I'll be the first to admit he can be a total loose cannon. I actually agree that his recent outburst toward SN and Boban was totally uncalled for. Sure, if you look closely, you could probably find plenty of tactical flaws in how he manages a roster...

But man, all of that is nothing more than smoke compared to the one absolute truth: RESULTS!!!

Lino is a genius, and like any genius, heโ€™s got his own specific brand of crazy. But that madness delivers wins, so all you "basketball authorities" can pack it in and go hide under a tarp.

LINO, WE LOVE YOU, YOU BRILLIANT NUTCASE! ๐Ÿ˜

Man, we really need to drag more of those folks from the political scene over here! ๐Ÿ™

Come on, Jonathan Reed4, tell me what you think. At what point exactly did you decide to turn against Lino??

Has he been a total joke to you ever since he stepped up to lead the American national team?

Why don't we both take a moment to answer that question for ourselves?

Honestly, if some Frenchman, Englishman, or even a German were reading this, theyโ€™d be losing their minds. How could anyone possibly disrespect a coach whoโ€™s already pulled off an Olympic gold, a World Cup gold, a World Cup silver, and at least a European silver? Theyโ€™d probably think weโ€™re just some totally delusional, brain-fried nation.๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿคฃ

How's this one looking? We might be small in number, but we sure are a handful.๐Ÿ˜

Honestly, massive props to our national team for grinding their way all the way to the finalsโ€”thatโ€™s the part thatโ€™s actually going to stick in everyone's memory! Who even cares about the drama surrounding how Lino managed the squad? It honestly just makes my head spin. Every single national team and their fans should be celebrating and feeling nothing but pure pride because they finally have the chance to go out there and fight for the gold!

.

when he was screaming during that timeout... play, play, push, push๐Ÿ‘‹

She was disappointed right down to her core. A true NBA expert like her has zero patience for those populist motivational gimmicks. If he couldn't explain Einstein's theory to them in thirty seconds, he didn't bother doing anything at all.

I have to agreeโ€”it's unbelievable.

It really is unbelievable!!!! ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿคท๐Ÿคท

It is truly unbelievable how prone Americans can be to switching off their brains, forgetting history, and falling for media hype.

We are the kind of people who can turn our backs on our heroes, on our country, and on everything that actually matters, just because someone like Jasna Babiฤ‡ wrote it in the Free Press or Matija Babiฤ‡ put it on Index.

Anyone who switched over to the new @ during halftime and listened to Pervan for a few minutes knows exactly what Iโ€™m talking about. In those few minutes, Pervan perfectly dissected this exact tendency.

I could go on about soldiers, Thompson, the war, the country, Lin, ฤ†iro, or Ivica Kosteliฤ‡...

Oh, Slaven Biliฤ‡, I truly feel for you. Hang in there, man, while you still can.

The crowd doesn't deserve you. ๐Ÿคฎ

I am in complete agreement with dustypilot22; I won't go through and quote everything right now.๐Ÿ‘
Lino is a genius, and our results speak for themselves!
I also think Vlado Sola made an excellent point at the end of the gameโ€”every single player contributed to this win.
Tomorrow, we go for the gold!!๐Ÿ˜
As for those who doubt the national team or Lino, they might want to find something more productive to do with their time.
p.s. I actually feel quite bad for the Germans.๐Ÿ˜ข

Anyway, props to our national team for grinding their way to the finals. Thatโ€™s really all that matters. People will just focus on how Lino managed the squad, which honestly just stresses me out. Any national team and its fans should be proud they actually have a shot at the gold.

Even for someone like meโ€”someone who gets criticized by those old-school radicals for hating on the US (mostly because I hate on Lino)โ€”today's win is still a massive point of pride. I'm cheering for the best national team we've ever had!

Given that it took their coach three whole games just to figure out how to playโ€”or rather, how to completely screw over the Frenchโ€”itโ€™s really nothing to write home about.

You want to know why Metlicic was the standout today?? Itโ€™s because this is his last EP.

Motivation is everything; nothing else matters.

And man, when I saw Jeppesen earlier, crying like it was pouring rain outside... tomorrow's final is going to be legendary. You can really see how much our guys and the Danish players have been starving for an EP final.
