Edward Burns What will IT sound like When you die - basically, this group starts getting messages that are a few days old... and they're just recordings of their own screams while someone’s murdering them
Honestly, feels like a solid way to kick off the 2008 movie season 😉!!!
(though I already have that nagging feeling the ending is going to be totally stupid)... standard stuff, really

Well, it wasn't at the theater or the rental place—but it definitely was on R&D's old DVD collection! 😁
Honestly, while I'm just sitting here passing the time waiting for something to happen, everyone else seems to be out there actually living life...🤣 😂

Ugh, yet another remake of a classic J-Horror title... honestly, isn't it getting a bit repetitive with this 🙄
obsession? I suppose I'll endure the viewing, but only because Shannyn Sossamon is in it. 😍

The trailer looked decent enough, but based on all the reviews coming in, this thing is already a frontrunner for the worst movie of 2008.

The Japanese version actually aired on our local TV stations too. I highly doubt the American remake will bring anything new to the table. It was Takashi Miike's specific brand of twisted vision that elevated this Horror film above the rest, and I honestly don't see another director being able to capture that same vibe.

To movie wasn't anything special; at best, it was just mediocre, but nothing more (there’s really nothing new there—it feels like everything we've already seen). If you actually want to watch a truly tense Horror film, then Room 1408 is the right choice (it's another adaptation of a King's book), and honestly, it's one of the rare Horror films out there today that is actually well-directed.

The original wasn't anything to write home about, and as for the remake... I'm undecided. I think I'll just wait until the unrated version hits DVD before I make up my mind. 🙂

There are actually two versions of Be Very Good 2 out there. The one you're grabbing is likely the shorter cut; I haven't sat through the version with the alternative ending yet, as I found this one perfectly fine on its own. I’ve heard nothing but disparaging remarks about this film being total garbage... Remakes are generally such a mindless exercise in mediocrity, with the sole exceptions being the Curse and the Circle...

So, I finally sat down and watched the original yesterday instead of just sticking to the remake, and honestly? Aside from a few creepy moments, it wasn't all that special. Just your standard Japanese Horror flick...

So, I finally sat down and watched it too. Honestly? The remake wasn't half bad... I actually liked it. A few scenes definitely gave me the chills, though. And seriously, why is it that in every single movie, they just HAVE to walk straight toward a creepy sound in the pitch black, or crawl through some random air vent??
