How to quote just a word or sentence instead of the whole post?

Is this right now? Or did I miss the mark again?

Can anyone actually walk me through how to quote, say, two or three different people in a single response? Just one post.

I’m trying to avoid sending out three separate posts when one would do just fine.

There’s a Multi-quote button sitting just to the right of the Quote button. If you want to grab several posts at once, just click Multi-quote on each one you're interested in—you'll notice the button changes color to let you know it's selected. Once you've picked your targets, hit Post Reply. That'll pull you straight into the advanced editor, and all those snippets you selected will be waiting for you right there in the text box.
