How to reduce animation file size without losing quality?

Hey everyone! So, I'm running into the exact same issue as you guys.🤷
I've been messing around for three hours now trying to resize this photo so I can finally upload it as my forum avatar (gotta look good for the ladies, right?). I managed to shrink the file using Adobe Photoshop, but for some reason, once I upload it, the animation just dies. It works perfectly fine when I open it on my PC, though... so I don't get it. Anyone have any clue what's going on? Here's the resized image I'm talking about!

I'm guessing it was just a file size thing, since mine was like 7kb and this one is only 3kb. I guess maybe that was the issue, or maybe it was something else entirely???

The animation was just way too massive... we're talking a maximum size of 50x50 pixels here, which is practically nothing

Got the gif down to 50x50, but I can't upload it as my avatar because it's still over 9.8kb. Anyone mind shrinking it down further for me if it's not too much trouble? Would really appreciate it... 🙂

I honestly can't believe how everyone here thinks they're an expert on everything except actually resizing a basic GIF to save some space... 🙂

Look, I dropped it from 75x75 pixels down to 50x50, but the file size is still way too big at 23.58kb. I need it under 9.8kb to fit the avatar limit and I have no clue how to shrink the file size without killing the quality. Tried reducing the color palette, but the lowest setting allowed just makes the GIF look like absolute garbage...🙂
