Dermatologist recommendations in NYC?

Does anyone know a solid dermatologist in Chicago who actually knows what they're doing without charging an absolute fortune?

I'm struggling with acne, so if you've dealt with this and finally cleared it up thanks to a great doctor, please drop some recommendations...

Honestly, I think the dermatologist over at the General Hospital (right across from Pfizer) is pretty solid.
You have to book an appointment ahead of time, but when I went, I managed to get in within just 3 or 4 days. Just a heads-up though—you’ll need a referral from your primary care doctor, otherwise you're probably looking at paying out of pocket.

I've also heard some really good things about the dermatologist at the other General Hospital, but I haven't actually sat in her chair myself. For her, the wait time is usually around 2 to 3 weeks.

If you're looking to go private, then yeah, prepare to be waiting forever for a response! 😉

I’ve actually seen the doctor in Siget (you’re looking at about a three-week wait there), and she is wonderful. My acne is finally starting to clear up thanks to her treatment plan. There is supposedly one other doctor at the Siget location who can see you almost immediately, but I haven't used her services, so I can't vouch for her. As far as the cost goes, as long as you have a referral, you should be fine.
