But regarding those vitamins... can my primary care doctor actually order those tests, or do I have to go through a private clinic?

Your doctor can certainly provide a prescription if they determine there is a medical necessity.

What specific deficiencies are you concerned about, and what led you to that conclusion?

Just feeling low on energy every now and then.
Kind of depressed, too.
Sometimes I just can't get myself moving.
I guess it probably has something to do with vitamins or minerals...

I’m just jumping in here a little late, almost like I'm parachuting into the conversation, but I wanted to share that taking B Forte really worked wonders for my energy levels. It was such a game-changer for me, whereas when I tried Plibex—which has a much lower concentration of Vitamin B—even taking anywhere from one to four tablets a day didn't seem to make any difference at all!

As for mood supplements, I’d be pretty cautious about self-medicating; it feels like most of them either bump things up too high or drag them down too low, which can really mess with your body's natural balance. Some people have had better luck experimenting with things like SAMe, saffron, or magnesium glycinate instead.

Does anyone happen to know how much it usually costs to get a full panel done to check your vitamin and mineral levels?
