She’s kind of adorable, I guess, but she just isn't anything special when it comes to her acting performances. There are definitely much better actresses out there than her.

I have to disagree. She isn't mediocre in looks, nor is she lacking in talent—her performance in Buffy the Vampire Slayer proved that quite clearly. That said, she hasn't jumped into many major film projects yet, aside from her role in Cruel Intentions. Personally, I’d love to see her tackle a heavy drama. Up until now, she’s mostly been cast in roles that lean into her charm.

I have just come across some absolutely staggering news!!!!!!!!!!!! A new Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie is officially in development!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, the disappointing reality is that neither Sarah Michelle Gellar nor any of the original cast members will be returning. 😢 😢 I can only hope that Joss Whedon might somehow be involved in the production. Without his touch, there is no telling if the final product will even resemble the original vision!

She’s actually one of those rare actresses in Hollywood who hasn't gone under the knife yet, though I suppose her only real issue is that she hasn't quite hit that top tier. It feels like she always gets bypassed, even though she clearly has talent (just look at The Air I Breathe), but maybe things will finally shift soon since her new movie, Veronika Decides to Die, is coming out. Apparently, her performance is already getting some serious Oscar buzz over on IMDb:COM, for whatever that's worth![/QUOTE]
