In my view, it’s more than that—it’s about how we actually look at people, our genuine attitude, and that underlying vibe... That's more or less what I was getting at, if you know what I mean!

I get what you're saying... but honestly, only a tiny handful of people actually live it. Most of the rest of them—the mindless drones—only pretend to experience PLUR when they're high as kites. I have zero respect for that, actually. It's something I genuinely despise.

...anyway, I'm thinking about Coachella in New Orleans... went last year... great vibe, solid organization, killer venue... huge crowds from everywhere, plus the nature, the air... everything's wide open... only downside is they don't serve the alcohol I drink... total bores...

Man, everything just boils down to two or three decent sets, while the rest is total garbage... and then summer rolls around and we're right back where we started... Cox, Morales, Westbam, and the rest...😕

At least there were two or three good ones... what happens when even those disappear!!! Hell... 😈
I'm already getting used to heading out of the States... you look around online and see things actually happening elsewhere... so you head out 🙂 for a weekend... come back feeling satisfied... then spend a few months recovering from bankruptcy just to go broke all over again 😉

it's awesome, except for the fact that I'm still basically a kid to you guys and only started hitting up parties about a year and a half ago because I seriously love electronic music and vibing to mixes (usually my friends') that actually sound great 👍
I'm sure it's not like how it used to be, but most parties I've been to lately have been phenomenal. I've met all kinds—totally high people and totally normal people—but I remember everyone had a smile on their face and everyone was in a killer mood.
Maybe things are different in NYC, but here in California, I'm totally satisfied 😉
Except obviously.......Morales 🤣 (who, by the way, is at the same spot at the same time every single year playing the exact same stuff)

Look, Morales is a straight-up legend—an absolute institution. Anyone attacking him like this clearly doesn't actually care about dance music, nor do they have any respect for what he’s done for the scene. Sure, maybe he isn't the biggest name in the headlines right this second, but we're talking about one of the architects of house music itself. Seriously, people—this guy was spinning records at Paradise Garage before most of us were even born. He’s got dozens of number-one hits under his belt, a Grammy, and he’s been remixing icons like Madonna, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, U2, and Björk...

You honestly have no idea what you're talking about. When you disrespect Morales, you're disrespecting the entire culture of dance music. 👎

Morales isn't cool. And he sure isn't underground. You can't claim to be underground if you aren't trashing Morales. Period.
I remember this one time at a party—a friend of mine was just starting out as a DJ. Right in the middle of his set, he pulls out a pair of sunglasses and starts acting like a total clown behind the decks, just messing around. This guy walks up to him—someone who actually helped "introduce" him to the scene—and tells him straight up: put the glasses away. That's not what being underground is about. 🤣You can't tell me you're underground when you're acting like that. 🤣

I think I’ve slowly just gotten used to traveling away from our beautiful country... you look around and see so much happening everywhere else... so you decide to peek 🙂 for a weekend... and you come back feeling totally satisfied... then you basically crawl out of bankruptcy for a little while before going broke all over again 😉

I find myself traveling all over the place too, though usually just to catch a certain big-name act—but when it comes to the vibe itself, I feel like everything is becoming more and more stripped down, no matter where you go...

You're exaggerating. It’s not just house and techno filling up those dance floors. Besides, compared to the psytrance scene, the actual cultural footprint at those festivals is practically nonexistent.
Comparing a massive trance festival to a single club night is just... ridiculous.

I’ll keep dragging Morales through the mud if that’s what it takes. I’m done with these types of shows. I just want to dance at Coachella, listening to the most infectious music on the planet... under a clear sky, in a place where the sound actually matters more than the DJ.
