The movie was absolute GARBAGE!

I can't take anyone seriously who claims to have great taste in cinema when their entire watchlist consists of nothing but stuff like 😳fast and furious

Here’s the thing: real directors—the actual greats—know how to portray filth and the raw reality of existence in a way that’s both visceral and strangely captivating. They make the grotesque look artful. But this school of filmmaking we see over here? It’s lazy. Instead of using craft, they just rely on constant swearing and gutter talk spilling out of characters' mouths to make a point. It's cheap.

Then what’s the point of movies if that’s the absolute truth.
If people strictly need to watch "real life," then why don't we just stop making films altogether and just broadcast reality shows and hidden camera pranks instead?

How many of our movies have you actually seen to feel so bold about tossing our entire cinematic culture into the trash?

In an ocean of bad movies (at least if you ask me) produced since we got our independence, this one is definitely a step up. It’s nothing groundbreaking, just a solid film overall.

The truth is, there have been some truly terrible films. Now, Beatrice isn't quite that bad, but she's nothing special either. Personally, I found four-row and life with cockroaches to be absolute snoozefests. Maybe I missed a few... who can even remember them all now? If I had to pick the good ones, I'd say the American Story, Sunken Graveyard—which could have been stronger, but still—How the War Started on My Island, Melita Žganjer (is that the one with the three men?), and a very good one for me personally, Rider. Maybe Dreaming Gold, 100 Minutes of Fame, and What is a Man Without a Mustache belong on that list too, though I haven't actually seen them yet, unfortunately...

They’re all absolute masterpieces. Every single one has a unique, totally original plot—nothing ever seen before, definitely not ripped off. They're wholesome family flicks, perfectly watchable without any of that tasteless garbage or vulgarity.

What is it about our movies that actually bothers you? Is it because they feel real? The swearing? The fact that they take inspiration from others? I'm struggling to follow your logic... I'm trying to picture your version of a perfect movie. I doubt Jack Chen would star in it because there's too much violence, and I highly doubt 'fast and furious' would make the cut because of the language. Maybe 'the princess diaries'?

And I don't get why you're making such a big deal out of this. I already told you—if watching them makes you sick to your stomach, then just don't watch them. Are you looking for an argument or something...?

p.s. I suspect you've only seen a few trailers rather than the actual films themselves 😳
