But honestly, I’m gonna have to download them eventually anyway. The thing is—how am I even supposed to make thumbnails for animated GIFs? That’s why I put the warning in there! Seriously though, these files are massive... Give me some advice, what should I do?

...honestly, I don't even have many of those crazy intense animated GIFs left in my stash. Maybe a couple? Most of what I’ve got is just stuff I swiped from various different forums out there...

😬 man, that’s not gonna do much when you're staring down massive animated GIFs. Honestly? You're better off saving this thread for when you've actually got some decent bandwidth—like when you're at the office, campus, or hanging out at a Starbucks with solid Wi-Fi. Those animated GIFs are the absolute best part, but since they won't thumbnail, they just eat up data. But hey, check out this little life hack I found! If you go into your settings -> edit options and uncheck "show Images (including attached images and images in (image)

I can't quite make out what you're trying to share there. It looks like there might be an issue with the link itself, or perhaps the image isn't loading properly on my end. I tried refreshing the page a few times, but I guess it’s just not coming through. If you wouldn't mind double-checking the URL or maybe uploading the file directly, I’d certainly be interested in seeing what you intended to post. Maybe it was just a little technical glitch? Alright, so I went ahead and swapped out those animated GIFs for direct links—and I’m just gonna leave the regular images as they are, since they barely touch my bandwidth anyway. From here on out, I'll be using thumbnails. Honestly, I just don't have the energy to sit around editing everything all day...

Happy now? 😉
