I'm with you—Anusic is absolutely useless. Every defensive foul he commits is borderline a red card, and offensively? He’s a complete liability. But man, when that defense actually clicked for a second, him, Dominikovic, and Vori were playing like a bunch of Russians, haha.

I don't see why Buntic wouldn't be cut—I could play any of the other wingers on the right side, especially since he’s clearly still miles away from being a real player

It feels like he hasn't been giving Smith enough run time—even though Vaughn is still struggling whenever he's forced into a 1-on-1 situation. Is he finally starting to lose his grip???

If we absolutely had to pick a backup for the matchup against Peru, Zarnic is a better shout at right wing than Bunting. At least the guy has some sense and won't just spray shots everywhere.😁>

I wonder why he didn't get subbed in during the Euro when those Canadians sorted out their little mess? He was only on the pitch for a few minutes before getting sent straight back to the bench.

Since both Spoljaric and Balic spent some time playing on the right wing during the tournament—and even Kaleb stepped in for an offensive play once 🤣—it really looks to me like Lino is seriously considering keeping Buntic at home.

Yeah, I’m thinking the same thing. If Metlicic gets sidelined by an injury or just happens to be having an off night, the perimeter defense is going to fall straight onto Lackovic, Duvnjak, and Balic.

Balic could definitely play in that position too.

And that’s the one thing I can’t stand about Murphy. I have zero interest in seeing an American club or national team treated like the heavy favorite.
Instead, these guys are walking away with the reputation of being the Dream Team, for God's sake.🙂
