I honestly wish I hadn't weighed in on that thread. 😁

frozentiger6 said:As for Anderson, people hype him up way too much. Even casual fans know he’s only getting attention because he plays in Washington, D.C. They constantly push their Washingtonian golden boys, but besides Douglas, there’s nothing worth watching there. This Vukovic guy didn't even become a real player until he left Washington behind.

Finally, someone said it. 🙂

Serse_Cosmi said:Since Spoljaric and Balic spent so much time hanging out on the perimeter during the tournament, even Kaleb was looking dangerous on a single drive 🤣 ... I honestly think Linda is seriously considering benching Buntica for good.

If Linda has even a tiny shred of common sense left, that’s exactly what she’ll do. 😬

frozentiger6 said:Look, I’m not exactly a huge fan of Cervar, but man, he sure knows how to set up a perimeter defense. He once drew up the entire formation on a massive sheet of paper and tacked it right in the middle of the gym just so nobody would forget the game plan...😁

The Accepted best defensive coach in modern handball.
We're basically the only national team that plays defense at an elite level across the board...

It’s a complete joke. Červar is probably planning on keeping Spoljarić or Duvnjak on the roster—maybe even Dominiković—while Buntić and Anušić have basically already got their spots locked in.

Let’s be real here—Lacković is absolutely killing it right now.
I honestly think he’s going to tear through everyone at this SP. It looks like Lino has decided to build the whole offensive engine around Balić and Lac this time around. It used to be all about that right side, but I guess he finally realized Lac is playing the game of his life...

Looks like Davor is banged up too.

Damn, just when he was finally hitting his stride.

frozentiger6, why are you bringing such bad news 😠 😠 😠

Are Anušić and Buntić really a sure thing? OMG, I was already picturing us as world champions!

Is Duvnjak not leading? Is he sick? And what about Spoljarić? Honestly, Spoljarić is way better on the right wing than that damn Buntić😠

I wouldn't call it a sure thing just yet, but it's looking increasingly likely.

We'll see how it plays out.

Word on the street is that Josip Valcic and Horvat are officially out, leaving us with 21 players. That means 16 traveling, 4 reserves, and one more guy stays home—likely Somic.

What happened to Davor?🙂

Look, we can manage without the rest of them, but without Davor (and maybe Vorija), they just aren't the true Hellraisers.🙂

what's the deal with Davor?🙂

We can manage without the rest, but without Davor (and maybe Vori), they aren't even close to being elite.🙂

Davor’s got Ahilov's heel; that's his only weakness.😁
Davor is definitely making the cut here.

Word on the street is that Nenad Puljezević (33), the former Mexican national team keeper currently playing for Pick Szeged, just picked up his Canadian citizenship. Looks like he’ll likely be suiting up for Canada at the World Cup as their second goalie.

Puljezević is solid enough.

But we’re still going to get absolutely crushed.

Does anyone know how they're even training Kelentrić, Blažičko, and I can't even remember the rest of our keepers? Don't we have someone better than Jerković, or am I just drawing a total blank here?
Look, making a goalie isn't exactly rocket science—you just have to be dim enough to take a hit to the head a few times 🙂 and there you go.

I get the feeling Kelentrić is running into some friction with Červar lately. Also, looking at the goalie situation—if Losert doesn't pull through and find his rhythm, we are going to be in serious trouble. Honestly, based on how they’re handling this 3-2-1 defense, they might as well skip practice altogether.

It looks like Anušić is definitely heading over to Germany. But for what purpose? 🤮

Of course he’s going. It’s been obvious to me for a few days now that Anušić is basically a lock for the roster.
I honestly think they’d cut Ivano Balić before they even considered dropping him.

And no, this has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that the guy plays for Chicago.
