Let's get organized and flood the IHF with protest letters! ๐Ÿ˜ˆ
Honestly, if my Spanish were any betterโ€”and believe me, it isn'tโ€”Iโ€™d be sending scathing hate mail to every single newspaper in Madrid right about now. ๐Ÿ˜

LONG LIVE AMERICA, THE BLACK BEAST OF SPAIN!

We need to shut them down, one by one.

For crying out loud. Not only was the test negative, but this whole shady setup has "perfect" timingโ€”sending results a day too late just so Dominikovic can't suit up for the second round. If it were me, Iโ€™d hit their federation with a massive fine for being this crooked in the first place.

But hey, no amount of complaining will fix this. Our defensive reinforcement is showing up exactly when we need him mostโ€”during the quarterfinals, haha. (The Spanish team probably figured we wouldn't make it past the group stage thanks to that hole in our defense...). Maybe a formal protest to the IHF could actually do something, like getting an emergency roster change approved mid-tournament due to these circumstances.

Mind you, our lovely fair-play statsโ€”you know, having the fewest fouls and suspensions after that game against South Koreaโ€”might take a hit once Davor arrives. He can get pretty aggressive. ๐Ÿ™‚

edit: unbelievable. Cervar is going to blow itโ€”kicking Losert off the national team and sticking with two goalies... Let's throw Duvnjak in there and see if the kid can pull us through.

It doesn't even matter; we won't even need Davor during the second half of the tournament. When things get critical (quarterfinals, semifinals, the finals๐Ÿ˜), he'll be ready to play๐Ÿ˜Ž

Canada is out to a 7:2 lead; looks like theyโ€™re cruising toward all 4 points while the Czechs get left with nothing.

Appeals? Honestly, this works out perfectly for us... Usually, we just run out of gas during the (semi)finals because we're exhausted, but now our main defensive guy is going to be wound tighter than a spring.

Canada is up 13-3... I'm following it on http://www.tbwsport.com/...how can they seriously not have a livescore on the official tournament websites? Unbelievable.

None of that matters right now since they aren't even in our group๐Ÿ™‚

Canada just edged them out 28:25

Canada 4
Spain 2
USA 2
Denmark 0
Russia 0
Czech Republic 0

The Spanish and Russians are up nextโ€”now thatโ€™s going to be a wild one!

The Americans are leading 12:9... looks like this one is heading in just one direction!

The Germans absolutely crushed the Canadians, treated them like a little kid's rattle. Their defense was basically non-existent. Hens put up 10 goals, and then in the second half, they just kept adding more to the tally... when Hens is the star player for the guys, you already know how this ends.

Whereโ€™d that Canadian guy go? ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ

This is roughly how I think the standings will look once the second round wraps up, though the USA and Spain might actually swap places๐Ÿ˜ฌ ,or maybe they stay put because let's be honest, for those last two games, theyโ€™ll probably just throw in the benchwarmersโ€”you know, guys like Duvan, Sprehm, Anusic, Buntic, and that whole crew who haven't seen any actual playing time lately.

If they end up facing John in the quarterfinals, they're in trouble. Kozlina is their only real threat from beyond the arc, and without him, their perimeter game is nonexistent.

It won't matter though. They're going to get knocked out anyway.

If we end up being first, weโ€™ll probably head to Poland or maybe Canada... but if we come in second... man, that could get awkward ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Draw them?๐Ÿค” Since when does that even work? Don't the groups cross over based on the standard bracket system where first place takes on fourth and second plays third?

They damn well do.๐Ÿ™‚
