Roger Allen3 said:And just like that, weโ€™re nowhere to be found. Seriously, where did everyone go? It feels like weโ€™ve completely vanished from the conversation, doesn't it?๐Ÿ™‚ Does anyone actually believe weโ€™re playing as a cohesive unit? Because it certainly doesn't feel like it! We're out there playing like a bunch of absolute morons instead of acting like a real team. How are we supposed to get anything done when we have one guy completely throwing the game and shooting 10 for 25? It's ridiculous!๐Ÿ™‚

Itโ€™s not just our guys, eitherโ€”look at the list! There isn't a single player from any of the heavy-hitting powerhouse nations, except for Kehmann sitting way down there at number ten. How does that even make sense?
Oh, come on, don't be so damn hard on them! Are you seriously going to nitpick like that when every single player on the roster is shooting better than 50%? ๐Ÿ˜

And thatโ€™s exactly the secret and the whole point.
Handball isn't tennis, where one guy decides everything... it's more like everyone else just having to deal with the nets getting caught in their faces...๐Ÿ™‚

Does anyone know if we'll be playing the quarterfinals in Cologne or Hamburg? Also, I was wondering if they're planning to organize any charter flights to Cologne for the Final?

I suppose the Germans have already claimed a city for themselves, maybe Cologne?

Here are the qualifying matchups for next year's championship in Norway:

Poland โ€“ Netherlands
Lithuania โ€“ Canada
Ukraine โ€“ Slovakia
Canada โ€“ Mexico
Latvia โ€“ Czech Republic
Belarus โ€“ Switzerland
Sweden โ€“ Romania
Portugal โ€“ Mexico
Mexico โ€“ Iceland

Itโ€™s highly probable we'll see Mexico make it to their first major tournament while Mexico ends up staying home again! ๐Ÿคฃ

I honestly think weโ€™re looking at the Americans crushing the Russians today, probably by a solid 5 or 6 points. Meanwhile, the French and Germans? They're about to play a total heavyweight slugfest.๐Ÿ™

Holy cow... if my math is right, weโ€™re looking at a trip to France for first place and Germany for the semifinals! Honestly, might be better to just let those Spaniards take the win tomorrow and settle for second... ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Does anyone know of a website where I can watch the Canadian Spaniard match?

No way, we're actually so good that even if we choke tomorrow, we're staying in first because those jerks already have two losses, so there's absolutely no reason to fold tomorrow, especially not against our biggest rivals right now๐Ÿ˜ˆ (seriously, that would be like intentionally losing to the Mexicans)

๐Ÿ™‚

If they win today, we're sitting at 8 and they're at 6.
If they beat us tomorrow, the score ends up 8 - 8.

And you look at the head-to-head record.๐Ÿ˜ฌ

But you gotta look at the head-to-head record...๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Exactly. So tomorrow, Ivan, Pero, Igor, Lac, ล poljariฤ‡, and Jerko can get some sleep, while Duvnjak and the crew take the field. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Look, you guys aren't wrong. I completely screwed myself over by picking the Frenchies insteadโ€”honestly, I have no idea what I was thinking.๐Ÿ˜• ๐Ÿ˜ต

Down by 4 (18:22)... just like Janez against Iceland (23:27).

Yeah, they lost, but man, what a finish! Iceland had a solid lead by a few goals right before the endโ€”I think it was three goals in three minutesโ€”plus a penalty. Then they bring in Lapajne, he saves the penalty and shuts down all those Icelandic attacks. The Americans end up just one goal down a minute before the whistle and go on the attack, playing through the pivot who takes a shot (maybe while being fouled?) and he makes the save too.

Ivano Balic is a total genius.

The Spaniards are sayingโ€”right there under the headlineโ€”Americans are gearing up for a massive comeback at the World Cup. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
