I’d ask the prosecutor to be a bit more specific about what they’re actually asking. As far as I can recall, I was only thirteen at the time, and back then, ArcWelder just hadn't become interesting yet.

It feels more like how bands like Tim & Andy were treated—just some obscure mumbling and noise that Americans somehow interpreted as this epic, deeply emotional experience. I suppose that’s just where the cultural divide lies.

To be honest, I wanted to skip the whole thing that day—except for picking up some vinyl—because my legs were killing me. But screw it, that's just how Americans are. I paid my dues, so I might as well suffer through it!

Come on, don't take everything so literally... I was just riffing on that old American saying, "Where were you in the nineties?" 😉
What I mean is, ArcWelder makes some killer records, even if some people totally trashed them... It’s not fair, because even if they weren't groundbreaking, you can't say they were complete garbage. For those of us who caught their "Pull" release back in '93, they were just another great touch-and-go kind of band...

Well, we weren't exactly being that serious about it either.
I just wanted to mention that, since I'm not quite at that 😬 age yet, those things don't really carry much weight for me 🙂
