American side 🤣

Has everyone sent in their responses yet? I’m itching to weigh in on a few of these tasks, but apparently we aren't allowed to 🤷

Sleepy.

Sorry for the late notice on this; things just got busy on my end. 🙂

Just an idea... what if someone actually followed the rules for once and started commenting on questions or maybe even providing some answers?

I was personally obsessed with one specific question because I just couldn't wrap my head around one part... and honestly, it wasn't even about the game, it was just that frustrating feeling where you know you know the answer, but your brain just refuses to cooperate... total mental block... I can't for the life of me remember the actress...

Lucky for me, though, I was feeling too lazy to log in and just post the question myself... 🤣 🤣

Most likely, none of those answers would even be accepted after being posted publicly, and any points you or anyone else earned from them would just vanish.🤷

hahaha. just sitting here drunk as a skunk—honestly, this made my day. I’m practically exhausted from laughing. What an absolute character, this American guy.🙏🙏
Nothing else to say, he’s a true Dragon —maybe even some kind of phantom veteran from a non-existent registry. 😂

Alright, someone (or an American if they actually know this 🙂) tell me: who directed the first and fourth movies, and what's that third film in the collage (besides Blood & Wine and The Witches of Eastwick)?

It's killing me that I can't remember 😵

I know 😉 but I'm not telling.
Where's the Dragon? Honestly, I'd love to see more solutions too. But there's something else bothering me. 😕

Why? Because the contest window closed. We sent our entries, we sent them—but they don't mean anything now.

What's actually bothering you? — maybe I know.

Last time we were chatting, it was just past midnight, so I figured this time wouldn't be any different, but honestly, it feels like there's zero reason left to extend the deadline🙂

If you ask me, number 1 is Roger Corman and number 4 is Jonathan Mostow
Out of those three films, the only one I actually recognized was The Witches of Eastwick

Hey briskhound2, did you actually wrap your head around question number 10? 🙂

Wait, you didn't recognize Batman? You know, that scene where Keaton freezes the image on the monitors and the Joker stays stuck on like five or six different screens? I can't even believe that...

I did. At first, I had to give myself a 🤦 and then tell myself how easy it actually was. But honestly, if you want to see how many anagrams you can pull out of those actors' names... 😁

It's my own fault for always preferring Batman Returns; Michelle Pfeiffer is just incredibly hot in that one, so I ended up watching it maybe ten times more than the first one. My bad.

As for *The Departed*, that twist was actually genius. I spent the first five minutes staring at the names, thinking there had to be some catch, and then it hit me 😂 I was right in the middle of a computer lab at college, and my TA almost kicked me out because I started laughing uncontrollably 🙂

If you’re only counting first names and ignoring last names, then the list of movies isn't going to be that long anyway.

nimblecrane20
So, what's your big solution here? Is "The Departed" the answer to all your problems?

Personally, I’m totally lost—whether it’s the first names, the last names, or just trying to keep them all straight together. But man, you gotta admit, it’s a brilliant little puzzle... It’s just those actors that are absolutely killing me. I know for the first one we've got Hooper, Bacon, and John C. Reilly. But who the hell is the fourth one? Same deal with the second part. I managed to catch Brosnan and Keitel, but that's about it.

@Jeffrey Nguyen2, what else would it be? What did you even write? 🙂

For me, my top pick is alongside your two, Michael Keaton and Matt Damon, but my second choice is that fourth guy, Stephen Dorff?

Which Jack Nicholson film is your number 12?

Just finished watching The Terror. Honestly, it could’ve easily been a straight-up B-movie horror flick... I feel like I’ve checked off half those kinds of movies already—or at least I thought I had—but looking back, most of them just kind of blurred together and slipped my mind.
