So... yesterday, Austin Alvarez62 mentioned that a few people are starting to question if this game—and honestly, all the previous ones—are actually legit. Apparently, since feralorca82 has crushed every single round so far, people are assuming the whole thing is rigged or that I’ve got some inside connection with him. To be fair, seeing how he absolutely dominates every time, the thought crossed my mind too, but look, I don't have any say in how this works.
Look, everyone's entitled to their own take, I guess. I've already said my piece on it. Yesterday. Look, I’ve got nothing to hide and zero interest in playing the "defense" game anymore. But since I’m planning to host one more giveaway before Christmas—likely my last one here—I need to set the record straight. This is going to be the biggest one yet in terms of prize pool and winners, and I’m putting more work into it than anything I've done before. I can't just ignore the noise; if people think I'm running a scam, they'll boycott it, and honestly, if that's how everyone feels, then I won't bother organizing it at all.
I’ve basically put my entire reputation on the line with these games, just like I have in my private life. Some people around here already know exactly who I am. Honestly, it never even crossed my mind to pull stunts like that or rig any games—it only hurts my own reputation, and I don't see what's in it for me. If I actually wanted to give something to one of my buddies, I'd just give it to them directly instead of messing around with forum games and trying to cheat the system.
I know it looks weird that I’d fund an entire setup like this on my own dime—I mean, who actually does that? Honestly, I can't even explain my reasoning. It all started because I was hyped for the Expendables release, but by the time the first game rolled around, I realized I actually loved the chaos of organizing stuff just to give people a chance to have fun and maybe win something. I originally wanted everything kept totally public to keep things fair, but that just turned into a nightmare of copy-pasters. To fix that, I started demanding answers be sent via PM, though I still posted them here exactly as I received them just so everyone knows I'm not playing favorites.
feralorca82 is one of those four guys who plays absolutely every single game and grinds until the bitter end, which is why he sweeps the prizes every time. Honestly, I’d love to see someone else take the win for once, but I can't exactly stop him from playing, nor can I do anything about how much he knows. Even when I was grinding hard—I was actually DMing people on the last day of this game just to tell them they still had a shot at winning, mostly because I wanted more competition—it felt a little awkward. I didn't want to look like I was forcing people to join, but even then, I couldn't really get anyone interested. So, since the player pool is basically the same group of people every time with maybe one new face, it makes sense that we see the same winners popping up. If anyone thinks this is rigged... well, whatever. It's out of my hands.
Look, I’m calling out everyone who’s been talking trash behind my back instead of saying it to my face. I don't want to look like a complete idiot here. Should I run another game or what? If you don't trust the process or me personally, just say it now so I don't waste money on prizes and prep work. If I do this, feralorca82 is definitely playing again, and given how much effort he puts in, he’ll probably win again too. Like I said, I can't—and won't—stop him from playing or tell him he's not smart enough, but I'm not trying to deal with more suspicion or people boycotting the thing. So, speak up.
