They're right in the middle of rehearsal right now—and I mean a real rehearsal, not just some soundcheck. Once they finally got all the gear hooked up, they realized nobody actually knew which song was which! It took them a few minutes for every single track just so everyone could get on the same page regarding what was being played. But honestly? They’re killing it now—now they just need to nail the sound.

Wait, are we seriously supposed to celebrate because a band that’s been around for over twenty-five years—supposedly the pinnacle of ultra-influential, quasi-artistic masterpieces—is actually "managing" to play their own damn songs? That’s like when I had my band back in the day, and we finally nailed a slow, three-chord punk song from start to finish with fewer than fifteen mistakes. We thought we were "killing it." What a joke. I’m wearing my Sex Pistols shirt to the gig tonight; at least they were professionals... 🙄

🙂I just hope the concert doesn't turn out exactly how some pretentious director would want it to be—you know, if they were looking for a way to satisfy their own ego. 🙂

Look, I'm not some bitter hater. I'd much rather have a good time than spend my energy spitting venom. Not every show needs to feel like a Young Godsi or Walkaboutsi set... 😁

I personally feel the concert should be curated exactly how unknown envisions it—after all, the man truly has impeccable taste...

So you're all little fashionistas now? My non-punk friends and I are just going to grab a drink on a park bench somewhere near downtown. I've been waiting forever for the weather to actually turn decent, and now I’m expected to squeeze into some cramped, suffocating dive bars? I don't think so. 🙂 I've had my fill of that scene at the local club.
+ I’m actually pretty stoked about the news regarding the woman in the band; it wasn't exactly what I expected from a poster like that. Honestly, I'm looking forward to the gang gang Dance show even more, though I have this nagging suspicion they might be a bit too fond of the booze. If they're already stumbling through the studio sessions, imagine how much they'll be partying during the live tour. : nail biting emoji: As long as they don't pull a Liars act on us again... 😬

Well, I actually wouldn't want the show to go down the path unknown wants! If that happened, I imagine the first band would play some sugary punk with an Oi! vibe, the second would probably be a garage act, and the third would end up being a mediocre cover band—or even worse, just a total disaster.😁
