You can check out the Digital edition from Autosport. You just grab a subscription and you get the whole magazine as a PDF.

And it’s actually quite reasonable—only about $108 if you already have an Autosport web account (which adds another $52)

So, we're looking at roughly $160 for 51 issues plus full access to the Autosport website. Honestly, I think those extra $52 are more than worth it.

I honestly can't stand reading everything online. There's just no soul in it. I’m one of those people who still needs to actually hold a magazine in my hands. There is something incredibly satisfying about physical copies—stacking them up neatly on a pile and just looking at the collection you've built. It gives you a real sense of what you actually own.

mistybear87 said:Yeah, you’ve got the British Formula 1 Racing—you can flip through it or just grab a copy for like ten bucks at a local Barnes & Noble—plus Autosport. Besides those big two, there's also Motorsport, which has been around since 1924, though I'm not even sure if they're still printing much... plus probably some smaller niche ones out there somewhere.

Motorsport is definitely still coming out, it just focuses way more on the historical side of things...

I mean, if one publisher was selling NASCAR (the exact same thing—totally unfair, identical ads) across the whole region—like, covering all of the US, Canada, and Mexico—then we might actually have a shot. But the way it stands now? Zero chance. No magazine survives on a circulation of maybe 1,000 copies; you need to be hitting at least 20,000 to even stay afloat. That’s when things get interesting. Because, you know, once you hit those numbers, advertisers actually start paying attention since their ads get seen by a real audience. You get what I'm saying?

If we could actually collect payment for the copies sold in places like Canada or Mexico, things would look a lot better. Right now, it's a joke. You ship out 500 units, they tell you they only moved 50, and then they don't even return the credit for the unsold stock... it's just throwing money down the drain. That’s why most people just end up sending out month-old issues—basically just clearing out old inventory from our local market so we don't lose too much cash in the long run...

Arthur Roberts12 said:Honestly, digital is fine, but there’s nothing like actually holding a magazine in your hands. I love stacking them up on my coffee table just to see how big my collection is getting.

I mean, if you've got money to burn, go ahead and subscribe to the print version and have them mail it to you once a week from across the country. By the time one issue actually hits your mailbox, the next one is already out.

I don't personally subscribe to Autosport, but I do pick up a few other mags that aren't strictly about Formula 1. That said, I totally get missing that tactile feel of paper. On the flip side, being able to search through digital text is a lifesaver when you're trying to track down a specific article but can't remember which issue it was in.

Plus, if you're really desperate to read something while you're sitting on the throne, you can always just print it out on a color laser printer😁. Honestly, that might actually end up being cheaper than paying for a full print subscription plus all the shipping costs

The issue here is that I have absolutely zero interest in reading anything in English🙂. If it were in Spanish or Italian, I’d be all over it, but English? No thanks. Even if I have to suffer through it because I know the language, I really don't want to🙂

And let's be real, I'm not exactly swimming in cash right now. Money is pretty tight😠

I mean, you’ve got MotorTrend over in the States that covers all the same stuff, and honestly, it's a top-tier magazine...

I have my doubts that they actually release an English version.😬

Man, someone just needs to make a call already... You either get an Italian take on NASCAR in Italian, or an American take on NASCAR in English. There isn't some weird middle ground where they mix them up... 😁

Does anyone know where I can actually pick one up and what the damage is going to be?🤷😕😢

You probably have to grab a subscription... I used to pick it up during the summer when, just like a bunch of other Italian magazines, you could find it sitting on stands in all our vacation spots, but honestly, I’ve no clue if they even carry it once the tourists head home...

silvercobra68 said:It’s tough—like, really tough—because we’re just working with such a tiny market here, and that’s the core issue. Imagine if one single publisher handled all the Formula 1 coverage across the entire US, Canada, and Mexico—selling the exact same thing, totally fair and square, with unified ads—then we’d actually have something going. But the way it is now? No chance. Any magazine struggling to move maybe 1,000 copies just can't survive—you need to be hitting at least 20,000 to make it worth the effort. That’s where the real game is. Because, get this—if you hit those numbers, advertisers would actually start paying attention since their ads would reach a massive audience. You know what I mean?

I totally get it. It’s a bummer that things aren't regulated properly by law, but honestly, that’s how pretty much everything works in our countries. I know the advertising side of things is a huge headache—looking at Formula 1Racing or EVO, most of those ads are just ripped straight from the British editions, with only a handful being local. As long as things stay this unrealistic, it’s impossible to expect everyone to thrive, both the readers and the publishers. And let’s be real, what are the odds that several publishing houses would actually sit down and strike a deal? Or that one big player would take over the whole region? I just hope they’re working on a permanent fix, rather than just patching things up until next year so we can deal with the same mess all over again. P.S. I’ve got nothing against the British versions or reading in English—I’ve been reading English content for 15 years now anyway. I bet a lot of us fans feel the exact same way.

stormyviper11 said:And regarding Formula 1, look, if the FIA is willing to let teams sit out three entire races, I think we can certainly manage to skip a few ourselves... 😁

So, basically, none of that is happening😢. Does anyone have a rough idea of when this might actually surface? If it even will? It would be great if they could at least host some articles and wallpapers on the magazine's website.

Today is April 23rd, which feels like a lifetime away from that April 1st post of yours. For us die-hard NASCAR fans who are just dying for some non-electric news and stories about the sport in American English... nothing beats having a physical magazine in your hands. 😢

🙂................ what a total mess........ 👎

Honestly, regardless of whether people think this magazine is top-tier or complete garbage..... I've always been all for having something like this in the American media landscape.... I was happy as a clam when it first launched back in January 2006 ............. and now.......... this........🙂
